THE CROWN JEWEL OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE Since 1850, the name “Willard” has epitomised the grand hotel concept in the nation’s capital. Today, Willard InterContinental Washington continues the tradition in landmark style. Located just two blocks from the White House and the National Mall, the hotel is convenient to government and business offices, shopping and many must-see sights.

LOCAL ESSENTIALS

THE PERFECT DAY

MORNING

Washington is a city at the heart of American history and more synonymous with prestige, politics and power. Start the morning with a "power" breakfast at the historic Old Ebbitt Grill which hosts some of Washington's most notable celebreties and politicians. Located one block from the hotel, more business is conducted at this spot than on Capitol Hill.

AFTERNOON

The National Mall is replete with museums, monuments and galleries. For the best way to absorb all the sites and sounds, the day will be spent on an open top, double decker hop on bus; stopping at monuments and museums along the way. Just the ride alone, provides a complete overview and highlights of some of Washington, DC's most recognized landmarks and treasures.

EVENING

As the sun sets over Washington, DC end your day with a nighttime walk to the Lincoln Memorial; where from the top steps of the monument you can gaze back towards the Reflecting Pool, Washington Monument, and Capitol Building and see our Nation's Capital in all its splendor- truly an American treasure. Look for our Perfect Day package when reserving your next trip to Washington, DC.
