Alternatively you may take the Washington Flyer, a 20 minute shuttle bus, to West Falls Church Metro Station for $8. From there you may ride the Orange Line Metro to Metro Center, which is two blocks from the hotel; this will take another 22 minutes and cost approximately $2.85.
Finally, if you flying into Baltimore-Washington International Airport, the quickest way to the Willard InterContinental is again by taxi. This will take 60-75 minutes and cost approximately $95. You may also take the Amtrak train to Union Station, which will take 25-35 minutes and cost $6.00-$41.00 depending on whether you take the local train or the express. From Union Station you may take the Red Line Metro to Metro Center, which is two blocks from the hotel. This will take an additional 4 minutes and cost approximately $1.55.
