Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room temperature did not work Bedroom thermostat did not work properly. When I contacted the front desk, they said changed the fan setting. Didn't work. Called again, received similar response instead of bringing someone to fix the thermostat. Just turned off the A/C. Also, the room's safe was low on battery. Called to have the battery replaced. Finally, someone showed up after 4th call. Took more than 3 hours. 14 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 A night in Wellington, NZ Had a lovely overnight stay at the Intercontinental in Wellington. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Restaurant in the hotel was excellent. Had breakfast at the Arizona but not particularly memorable. I was looking for the honey and berries in the porridge as per the menu - oh there were berries - a single strawberry cut in half! Overall though it was a great stay. 13 November 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A nice place to stay The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very pleasant. This hotel has it all, but it also has a couple of downsides. I asked for porridge to have as my breakfast and I have to be honest I've seen better bowls of porridge at scout camp. It was fluid like soup and had no substance. Porridge is meant to fill you up and keep you going but this was a let down. Unfortunately I never received my wakeup call, it was good that I always set another when I'm away with work. Apart from those two areas this hotel is one I like to return to. 11 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ambassodor Entitlements Suggest the blip in room upgrade where twin beds are required be reviewed. Generally other entitlements under the programme were met to our satisfaction. Given the many hotel chains we have stayed throughout the world I found this hotel compared very favourably with very good attention to detail by staff. The Club Lounge staff were excellent and prepared to enter into conversation with guests. 11 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by If you are in Wellington there is ONE place to stay I am a member of two global loyalty programs. My most familiar one (6 years) is not present in NZ. So I joined the Interconti Ambassador program because I will be there frequently in the next 12 months. If you want the local experience and the standards you are used to in a global program join this program and for the best experience, stay at the Wellington Interconti. They have a young vibrant diverse staff, best location and highest standards - food, wine, amenity. That simple. 09 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An oasis for a weary traveler I only wish I could have spent more time in this hotel. It was so relaxing and comfortable - I was very tired and everything in my room was there to make my stay a very comfortable one. All the staff I came in contact with, from the concierges to the staff member who brought morning coffee to my room - were so courteous and friendly. Kudos to the Wellington InterContinental for providing such thoughtful services to an exhausted traveler. 07 November 2014
