Breakfast options were delicious and restaurant service was fast. All ambassador privileges were provided and acknowledged. 15 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THE BEST! We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The quality and consistency of the service is unmet. Every single employee is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. The room was absolutely stunning (and so was the view). They thought of everything and the food was delicious, too. We wish we could have stayed longer and even though we stayed at a lot of great hotels before (to include Intercontinental hotels), this one exceeded our expectations in every way. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brilliant experience Stayed at the Intercontinental Wellington overnight to go to the WoW Awards. Everything about the stay exceeded any expectations and was even better than the last time we stayed, and that was outstanding. Being upgraded certainly was a treat but the breakfast is the best I've had anywhere - large selection and top quality produce. Really helpful 14 October 2014

An outstanding experiance fro start to finish. The room since the upgrate to the Hotel is amazing. Congrats on a wonderful hotel and experiance. 12 October 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by New Rooms are Better? I stay here a lot (5-10x per year). The new Lobby area is nice and the rooms that have been upgraded are OK. Let's face it some of the rooms were looking a bit shabby. I like the fact that you can open the window at night and even in Windy Wellington I can normally sleep, especially now the building work over the road has stopped (which is not really in the hotel's control). Purely personal preference I don't like the new thick feather under blanket and duvet that hotels seem to think makes their beds better. Perhaps if the hotel was located at the South Pole this would be an appropriate amount of bedding, but it's not so it just makes them hot. But it only takes 10 mins to re-make the bed and sometimes this hotel remembers and makes the bed the way I like. Other pet peeve when I've opened the window and turned off the TV and aircon. Do not close the window and turn things back on when I'm not around. This is less green than your silly hanging towels up policy. 12 October 2014
