Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Time with family We spent a wonderful three days at the Intercontinental Wellington in early February. The staff were fantastic and the Club Lounge is very comfortable. We are very much looking forward to the upgraded club lounge. The new rooms are relaxing and the beds are the best. 06 February 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay We stay often and the hotel is great with a fantastic location and staff friendly. There was one problem this stay which was the laundry was closed. The lady at reception advised that its closed for renovation so hopefully by our next trip all will be sorted and open again. Without a laundry for us it would be a real problem staying. 02 February 2014

Staff were very friendly,and helpful,as well as making us feel there was a special effort they wished to make,to make our occasion so "special".It was just great to experience such warm & friendly service,and friendliness.Their extra efforts to make our weekend stay "special" made it a great occasion for us,and we loved every moment of our stay.THANKYOU. The newly refurbished rooms are a huge improvement and our restaurant experience was excellent and also hugely improved since our last visit. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing weekend From the minute we arrived there was nothing to fault. The staff were exceptionally friendly, efficient, helpful and unobtrusive. We were in an newly refurbished room over looking the harbour. Gorg view and just loved the experience. We have stayed many times before and will definitely be returning again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Another Great Stay Just popped in for the night on travels to the south island. We arrived on Harley-Davidson Motorcycles so we asked about parking them in the underground area. It was no trouble for the staff to assist us with parking which was great. Good nights sleep in the most comfy beds. All staff very helpful and we will return again for sure. Thanks so much for the great hospitality. We are Priority Club members and were upgraded on arrival also, thanks again 29 January 2014

Everything is done well and it is a pleasure being here and inviting friends to meet me there. I use the conference facilities and they are always well prepared and staff are at hand when needed, yet not obtrusive. Everyone is courteous and are a pleasure to deal with. The finishing touch, being driven to the airport in possibly the best car on the road again with an impeccable chauffeur . Thank you, I'' come again. 27 January 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 A special stay for first two nights as husband & wife We stayed at intercontinental for 2nights. We went straight to intercontinental after our morning wedding. Staff were so welcoming. On arrival we were upgraded to a king bed room with spa. We were greeted with array of fresh fruits andwine as our wedding gift. Buffet breakfast was A+++, we loved it!!! We also tried the indoor pool. Overall, we are vry happy with our stay. We have also chosen intercontinental fiji for our upcoming weeklong honeymoon as we know Intercontinental anywhere will not disappoint. :) 26 January 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A beautiful hotel in a remakable city From the moment of our arrival at your beautiful property in Wellington we were overwhelmed with the kindness of your concierge staff. Our bags were unloaded and our car parked in the flick of an eye. The welcome by your front desk was perfect and the room was lovely with a spectacular view of Wellington Harbour. Our stay was comfortable and the beds and pillows divine. The breakfast was superb. We would like to acknowledge Michael from the concierge team who helped us route our program through the North Island to Auckland so that we maximized our experiences in the available time. Michael was kind, polite and professional but most important of all he was knowledgeable and he made our holiday a total success! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A concierge can make your holiday special. The Intercontinental was what you would expect from a 4 to 5 star hotel. Large, efficient, standard cooked breakfast, expensive drinks and particularly expensive laundry bill; 5 underpants and one t-shirt washed for $60 (really!!). BUT... what made our stay memorable was the engaging, warm, knowledgeable and professional assistance from the concierge in particularly young Michael; he was a real gem of a bloke and has an innate ability to make you feel genuinely quite at home. My wife and I were very impressed as we were made to feel very comfortable by Michael, almost like we were staying at his house. There was nothing he couldn't do. He even organised our stay in Marlborough organising the ferry across, accommodation and car hire…..Brilliant kid! 07 January 2014

We upgraded to include the executive lounge access and that was well worth the money! Abby at the lounge was exceptionally good at making us and other guests feel comfortable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room and Dinner Stayed here just the one night unfortunately. Room was excellent, newly refurbished with a great bed and bathroom. Best surprise was the restaurant. My partner and I expected the standard motel meal, but instead got a fantastic meal which we have already told others about. Staff here were excellent, attentive, but not overly so. Although the room was great the restaurant was the real surprise. 03 January 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Memorable Christmas We spent a memorable 4 nights over Christmas. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms and it was excellent. Great shower/bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Great service in that the staff were available but unobtrusive. The food in the Lobby Lounge and the restaurant was excellent. An excellent experience and an amazing way to spend Christmas. One of the best Christmas presents :) Will definitely be coming back. 31 December 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by New room I stayed in one of your new rooms. They are much nicer than the older ones. But you need to work on some things. The pressure in the shower is far too low and you have to stand almost up against the wall to get wet. The tap for the shower is also too far away. The bench is too narrow to be an effective desk to work from. It would also be good if you removed the second bed so that the small table and chairs could fit more comfortably into the room. 15 December 2013
