오전Start your day like a New Yorker with a brisk walk, run or bicycle ride (rentals are available) in Central Park. Look for signs of spring at Strawberry Fields; in the blossoming cherry trees around the Reservoir; or venture to the center of the park to discover the famed sculptures and iconic bridges. Once you've worked up an appetite, enjoy long-time breakfast favorite Sarabeth's on Central Park South. Next mix a little movie magic with a Fifth Avenue shopping experience--after all, what goes with breakfast like Tiffany’s? FAO Schwartz, the toy store made famous by Tom Hanks in the movie Big, the flagship Apple store and the Plaza Hotel are on your way. |
오후Spend your afternoon exploring Brooklyn! Venture out to Grand Army Plaza (an easy trip by the 2/3 subway or by taxi) to see the impressive entrance to Prospect Park - on the weekends you can catch the Greenmarket there. Make your way in to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and see the early Spring blooms including Hanami - the annual Cherry Blossom festival going on throughout April. Then check out the elegant, modern architecture of the main branch of the Brooklyn Public Library before you hit the Brooklyn Museum to view the fascinating site-specific sculptures in Gravity & Grace: Monumental Works by El Anatsui. Afterwards you can relax with a cup of hot chocolate or wine at Lincoln Station (9409 Lincoln Place at Washington) or have a bite to eat at nearby gastro-pub The Vanderbilt (570 Vanderbilt Avenue at Bergen Street). |
저녁A harbor cruise under the stars such as the Bateaux Dinner Cruise will offer you New York’s world-renowned skyline views, separated only by glass windows and water. An elegant experience of fine dining, live music for dancing, as well as outstanding service can be found aboard this magnificent all-glass vessel. Upon docking, a chauffeured luxury car will whisk you away to Jimmy Rooftop Bar that spoils you with great cocktails, amazing music and a fantastic view over Lower Manhattan. The concierge is always happy to assist you in helping make the arrangements for the perfect day everyday. |
현지 문화Gotta Date?New York City taxis cannot be reserved in advance, they must be hailed. Worried you will not make that appointment or flight? Don't be! Come and see your Concierge and we can set up a private car service for you. Also, remember that a taxi from Manhattan to JFK should cost $77 each way (including tolls and gratuity you should never pay over $85). Also, beware of dark unmarked vehicles trying to solicit car service. Unless previously arranged, do not use luxury Sedans for transportation. Be safe and stick to New York City Yellow cabs. Is that a rumble in your tummy? As a rule, New Yorkers rarely eat at home (have you seen the real estate here??), so as a consequence, many famous restaurants are often booked months in advance. Contact your Concierge when planning your trip to the City so that we may help make everything perfect. Last minute trip? No problem. There are thousands of great and exciting places to eat in the city. Just come see us and we will be more than happy to help you satisfy your palate. Show me the Money!New York is a tipping City and so it is customary to tip all service providers. Not tipping indicates you received poor service so do not forget to have your dollar bills ready. Hello Mother Nature??New York weather, like the City itself, can be extreme and temperamental. It is not uncommon to be sweltering one day and need a coat or sweater the next. Did not pack the right items? No worries, it is just an excuse to do some shopping! Don't believe the hypeContrary to popular belief, New Yorkers are friendly and helpful. We may seem abrupt at times since the City is incredibly fast-paced, but please do not be intimidated and mistake urgency for coldness. Give it a try and ask a local for assistance and you will see. |
알고 계시나요? ?Staten Island FerryIt would cost the City of New York more money to charge a fee for the Staten Island Ferry than to offer it for free! Lucky us! Hells KitchenOur very own turf has also been home to the talents of James Dean, Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, Alicia Keys, Madonna and Sylvester Stallone. Want more?Because of our unrivalled local knowledge we can help you make the moments that will create your experience! So please come and speak to any of the Concierge team about what we can do to make sure you get the most from your trip. |
담을 아이템These "shoes" were made for walking...New York is a fashion capital but don't forget to pack comfortable shoes because with so many places to visit and discover, your feet will be begging for some TLC and it will not matter what shoes you wear! Ask your Concierge for the best local pedicure spots. A murse? Purse? Backpack? Messenger? So many choices! With so much to do, you may find yourself carrying a number of maps, brochures, schedules and magazines and no where to keep them. We suggest that you bring a lightweight, medium sized bag of your preference, to help keep everything in order. Jacket or no Jacket? With all the different wonderful restaurants in the city you may find yourself wondering about appropriate attire; no worries, your Concierge is in the know but remember Gentlemen, most flagship restaurants in the City prefer or require jackets. |
