Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel needs to have team meeting about customer relations The shuttle service people were great. They seem to be more into customer service than anyone that I came in contact with at the hotel. It was very easy to give the effort of great customer service, when you do not get it from one person, it makes a bad go for the entire stay. First impressions are key. I lost the comfort when I stood in front of the wrong welcome person. If my company did not pay for this hotel, I would have went some where else. That is all I have to say. July 31, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff, Great Night Sleep My husband and I were here for a conference. The rooms are nice and the bed was very comfortable. We both slept great. The front desk staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise with all of the variety to choose from. We were very happy with our stay. Our room stayed nice and cold which was nice during 100 degree weather outside. July 30, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel We wanted to get away from a hectic week and chose the Intercontinental Hotel due to our previous experiences at this and other Intercontinental hotels. We have enjoyed Intercontinental Hotels in Edinburgh, Scotland, London, England, Paris, France and many cities in the united States. We stay at these hotels due to the wonderful personnel and excellent facilities - whether for business or leisure. We have never been disappointed. July 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great food, Bar leaves a lot to be desired I was blessed to spend some time in Dallas in July of 2015 for a convention of around 1000 auctioneers and their family. The desk staff was great, the rooms clean, the food... some of the best I have had at a hotel in my 30 plus years traveling for business. The bar.... while overloaded, I was very disappointed, to the point of going to management for help, which I never do. It wasn't particularly the staffs fault, I blame it more on the hotel itself, as they have the ability to better serve their customers. 1 well, 5 people to serve 400 or so thirsty auctioneers, vendors, and families just couldn't cut it. A few mobile serving stations, more manpower would have tripled their revenue for the night including the labor expense. When you have to wait 35 minutes for a beverage, it can ruin an experience. Additionally, I have never been to a hotel that doesn't offer airport shuttles. I heard after the fact, that they do, but get kickbacks from the cab companies. Whether that is true or not, I do not know, but I used Super Shuttle and Lyft, which was and additional expense. The food, however, was fabulous. I would NOT characterize it as hotel food. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Lobby - Underwhelming Rooms This hotel is perfectly fine. It is just not a luxury hotel, as is touted by the website. There are so many little things that are not of good quality in the rooms and leave so much to be desired. It seems the hotel owners stopped caring about the rooms long ago. The shower head in our room did not function properly. So for three days we had to shower under water that came out like low-pressure hosed water. The bathroom products (e.g. soap, shampoo, etc.) were not of high quality. The iron did not work properly and ruined two garments. It was a cheap and terrible iron. The beds were not sturdy and not very comfortable. The beds looked nice; but felt inadequate. The pillow offering was uninspiring – two small pillows. The pool is anything but luxurious. It is an average pool, with very average pool-side furniture. The food is just okay. We have traveled to many countries and cities. This hotel leaves so much to be desired and we will likely not return. This hotel should be considered at 3.5 star hotel at best. July 29, 2015
