    Rated 4,0 out of 5,0 by Clean room and comfortable bed for good night sleep Pleasant stay at IC Shanghai Puxi Hotel and has been my favourite hotel to stay whenever I am in Shanghai. Pros: - Good spread of breakfast to perk up the day - Clean and Comfortable Room - There are several staff who are very dedicated and will go out of the way to assist, where possible - Hotel is within walking distance to the train / subway station Cons: - Breakfast items are not topped up once they are all taken up by guest - For elite members (e.g. Ambassador Plat members) who are entitled to a one level room upgrade, was not automatically. Had to approach staff to make query, who in turn has to check with manager to concur with the upgrade. Felt that this should be given as part of the committed benefit, instead of having to ask for it. - Internet speed is very slow, even slower than if I use the Mobile Phone 3G network to check emails / search for info.     Rated 3,0 out of 5,0 by Great in parts, average in others, appaling in some. Massive room with all the conveniences one can think of. Cleaned every day and turned down to perfection each night. The Club Floor, Reception and Concierge staff at this property are amazing, and they have total focus on their guests. Rooms a bit noisy as badly sound insulated so one hear every single noise and door slamming in the corridor pretty clearly. Air-conditioning unit pretty noisy when on and it is slow adjust the temperature. BIG drawback is The Spa. It is expensive and offer appalling customer service and treatment quality. No added value apart from average quality treatment. One of our party had ordered a massage in advance. When the she arrived for her treatment as planned, and agreed, commotion broke loose in reception. She was asked to wait. Then she was ushered into a small treatment room, given a cheap glossy magazine and a cup of tea and asked to wait. No time frame was given. No staff in sight until the therapist showed up just over 45min later, apologizing for the lateness and said she was having her dinner. (??) So simply, Avoid. For 1/5 of the price you get superior massage in establishments nearby (tried and tested) and better SPA / Pampering experience. 23 de octubre de 2014
