BIENVENIDO A Sydney

As Chief Concierge of InterContinental Sydney, it is my pleasure to ensure every guest is given the opportunity to experience a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Sydney. My team and I are here to help you experience Sydney and the surrounds from a local's perspective.

InterContinental Sydney is located in the cultural end of Sydney, just footsteps from the famous Sydney Opera House and Royal Botanic Gardens. Built around the historic Treasury Building of 1851, the hotel has one of the oldest operating elevators in the Southern Hemisphere and was built on the site of the first grapevine ever planted in Australia.

CÓMO LLEGAR AL HOTEL

RECOMENDACIONES
LOCALES

UN DÍA PERFECTO

MAÑANA

Set your alarm 30 minutes early and take a walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens. It’s a breathtaking way to start the day and you’ll feel not only refreshed, but also like a true Sydneysider. For the best vantage point in Sydney, head towards the Opera House and enter the Gardens through the Queen Elizabeth II Gate. Follow the waterfront path along Farm Cove to Mrs Macquaries Chair where you’ll experience a spectacular view of the city. Did you know that this historic chair was carved out of a rock ledge for Governor Lachlan Macquarie’s wife, Elizabeth, who used to come here to enjoy the panoramic views of the harbour.

TARDE

Take a 30-minute flight aboard a seaplane and head due north over some phenomenal scenery - including Sydney Heads, Manly Beach and the spectacular northern beaches. You land at Cottage Point, to be met on arrival and seated at one of the locals' best kept secret; The Cottage Point Inn. There you'll enjoy a lunch of modern Australian cuisine while relaxing and taking in the exquisite views, you may even have the opportunity to hand feed a friendly local bird called the Kookaburra.

NOCHE

Head to the award-winning Aria Restaurant for a pre theatre dinner. Whilst sipping cocktails and enjoying the sunset, while reminiscing about the day's highlights. The concierge at the InterContinental Sydney has secured tickets on your behalf to the evening's performance at the Sydney Opera House. If stamina allows, stop off at the Opera Bar afterwards for a nightcap before retiring to the hotel and a peaceful night of slumber.
