Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great place to stay in Wellington This hotel is very central and ideally placed to walk to shopping and the museums etc. Staff are all friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Third time we have stayed at this hotel, and every time has been great. July 31, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pillows to die for!! I stay at the Intercontinental wheneverngton and cannot wait for my trip as the hotel is luxury all the way. I have stayed in club room previously and if the cost wasn't so costly would do so again as the club lounge is amazing. Four pillows to choose from on your bed with a pillow menu!!!!. Only area to improve is the concierge area as I waited ages last Sunday for anyone to help me. Eventually the receptionist came over but had to dig around for keys ( one concierge person was looking for a customers Jersey apparently Was treated warmly on arrival by a lovely lady. Not so much when leaving.... July 30, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Staff and Hotel As usual I had another fabulous visit. I spoil myself once a year and stay at the Intercontinental- for many reasons. It's central to the city and wharf facilities. They have outstanding staff working there- always friendly and helpful. The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms great. I always try to upgrade to Club as it is just that little more indulgence which I enjoy after a busy year. The restaurant has fabulous food. I could just go on, but for me it is my preferred hotel to stay at by far. Thank you, Leeann July 22, 2015

Even brought me a lemon honey and ginger drink when I had requested more tea bags and a bucket of ice for my brandy and ice. Could not answer Memorable Experience!!!!! The Wellington InterContinental has achieved this on our last four stays. The upgraded rooms are very advance, and very comfortable. Strange hand thing going on in the restaurant, but that is a matter of personal taste. Look forward to coming back! July 20, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick weekend away We recently spent Fri - Mon at the property for a quick weekend get away. The staff were all very friendly, accommodating and helpful. There was a polar blast and our room heating wouldn't work, the staff were quick to send a repair person to fix the element and very apologetic. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Complimentary internet for IHG members is an added bonus. The gym, and pool/spa/sauna area are fine. Restaurants/Lobby area look great, but I thought the room allocated was quite tired and needed refurbishing, bathrooms modernised. Room service was good, nice food and quick delivery, with pricing in line with this type of hotel, the Arizona restaurant next door was a huge let down and I wouldn't go back. Location is fantastic and easy walking distance to great shops & restaurants. We used the town car to the airport which was another fabulous service, and not that much more than a taxi. July 16, 2015
