The room was pleasant with a terrasse on the 8th floor. Everything was fine except the glass door between the bathroom and the bedroom : it is not convenient for a couple (light, noise).
disapointed by the roof terrasse where there was no activity, but maybe this is because it was early in the season. Overall a good and central place to stay in Paris. [Less]
This hotel does not live up to its name. It is not exactly grand. However it is comfortable and well located. Our room was about the size of a cruise ship cabin, small but perfectly adequate. The[More]
bathroom had plenty of space and was well fitted out.
One drawback was that from about 6am every morning, there was noise from the back of the hotel. It sounded like large wheelie bins being moved around and trolleys trundling around. Possibly servicing the hotel and the shops below the hotel. It was difficult to see what was going on because the windows only opened a few inches. There was a cable linking the two sides of the windows together, which stopped you from opening them further. This noise went on for about 2 hours for each of the 3 days that we were there. The reception area is very small. Downstairs from reception is the bar area, however the bar never seemed to be open. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Apart from the bin noise, for a stay in central Paris in a good location, this hotel was fine. [Less]
