Very comfortable, clean place to stay. Very nice front desk staff, great location. Breakfast is good, but could be better. I'll be back.

YOU must research how to locate this hotel on your own. We were at the Oak Brook Terrace Mall about a mile away from the motel, We called the motel for directions, The desk clerk did not know where we were or how to help. She thought we were East, but not sure.
The location is in a "restricted" driving area!

We chose this hotel because it was IHG, and it was along our route, close to friends living in the area. When we arrived, we were pleased with the outward experience. That's where it stopped. We got inside and the front desk staff were rude to the customer in front of us, and less than pleasant to us. We found that there was construction going on throughout the hotel, which is certainly understandable. What wasn't understandable was when there was noise all the way to our room from other guests playing in the halls, and we called the front desk, we were told there wasn't anything that could be done about other guests.
The following morning, we went to church. Being unfamiliar with the area, we got turned around (not that hard to do in Chicagoland) and noticed it was coming close to the cut-off for breakfast. I rang the front desk and explained the situation, and that we would be there no later than 10:05 (less than 5 minutes after the close of breakfast). I asked if they could hold breakfast for us for just 5 minutes and that we were on our way back from church. The clerk told me that there was no way, sorry, they have no option, they had to close it. I asked again, "Just 5 minutes?" to which she replied, "that's the time we close it, we can't keep it open for just one guest." Her tone and attitude were both extremely rude, as we had experienced the afternoon before when we checked in.
I hurried as much as possible and arrived at 10:03, by the lobby clock. Sure enough, they closed everything down. Waffle machine was locked, everything was put away, except cold cereal, but no milk. I asked the lady cleaning up and she told me everything was put away, that we should have called, and she would have left it out longer. Clearly, the front desk clerk chose to not help us, and that nearly ruined IHG for me completely. I have continued to stay IHG and have found that, for the most part, that isn't the norm. But I have found that I am disappointed far more than expected for such a reputable chain, and for such room prices.
