Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Outstanding staff makes this the best hotel in the UAE May 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great staff and "home" like atmosphere I recently checked out of the Yas Island Staybridge Suites after spending two years at the property. It was a great two years! The management and staff run an excellent hotel that really does make you feel at "home," especially as a long-stay guest. Repeat customers are a valuable asset in the travel business, and the people at the Yas Island Staybridge Suites really make you want to come back. The service was exceptional during my stay. People to mention and look for during your stay who were particularly helpful and customer services "experts" were: Mr. Shadi (Management), Mr. Mazen (Management), Mr. Dik (housekeeping), Mr. Ragu (housekeeping), Roshith (Hub), Ms. Rowena (CP - Stills), Ms. Kris (CP - Stills), Mr. Jacob (CP - Stills), Febey (CP - Massage), Fred (CP - Recreation/Fitness Trainer), Hamze (Barouk), and Mohamed (Barouk - shisha). Each of these people made my stay more enjoyable and should be commended for providing excellent service. Indeed, almost all of the staff at the Staybridge Suites and Crowne Plaza on Yas Island are exceptional. I look forward to seeing them on my next trip. April 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabulous Hotel on Yas Whether staying one night or one year, I am sure you will love this place. I am a frequent visitor. Its like coming home! The hotel and grounds are gorgeous. The suites are huge, and have everything you need. I like the extra touches like free water, free internet; the free breakfast is extensive, and the evening social is a perfect light bite. The pool is stunning, and the new Yas Island beach is easy to get to with the free shuttle. The staff is great, super friendly and how they know everyone is remarkable. This is a great find, and I highly recommend it. April 2, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Accommodation, Food, Staff made a Fabulous Holiday We have just returned from our second stay at Staybridge Yas Island. Last year we had 5 nights, this year 10 nights and we are in the process of booking for another 10 nights next year. For us this is a leisure holiday which is a little unusual in the suites as many are occupied by people working in Abu Dhabi. The suites are very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Completely home from home. The bed is extremely comfortable with quality bedding and pillows. The bathroom is also very spacious and had a fantastic shower although sometimes it took a while to get the hot water. Again superb quality thick towels. Our only criticism in the bathroom would be the lighting and it needs a shaving mirror. The food was excellent. A wide range of choice for breakfast and the hot food and snacks that were served Sun-Wed evening was very welcome indeed. We also liked the fact there is complementary tea/coffee throughout the day. The staff are a credit to the ICHG all very polite friendly and helpful and did everything to ensure for that perfect stay. We loved the pool at Staybridge. It does not get the sun until later in the day so it usually quieter and being a 25 metre pool you can do some serious swimming. The sun terraces are also excellent. We ate in Jing Asia once and Stills three times (both in Crowne Plaza). We also cooked some meals in the suite as there is a very well equipped kitchen. We love Yas Island, it is so clean and so very beautiful. We loved our long walks after breakfast, down to the Marina, the beach, up to the golf course or the racetrack. Also loved watching the aircraft take off and coming into land. We had a fantastic holiday. We love Abu Dhabi and in particular Yas Island and the Staybridge Suites and cannot wait to return next year. Thank you to all concerned for making this a fantastic holiday. February 15, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Great Extended Stay Location After exploring several other Hotel-Apartment locations, I chose to stay here. The rooms are good size and have everything needed in a typical apartment with the added benefit of housekeeping, maintenance, and security. The location is peaceful and well-landscaped. There is free breakfast everyday and dinner 4 nights a week. The food is average and comes from the sister hotel next-door. Sometimes it seems like leftovers. For breakfast, don't expect lots of variety. There are decent pastries, 2 really nice coffee machines, cereals, scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes, canned pork and beans, a couple of breakfast meats, some breads (usually dried out and tough) a bowl of fruit, yogurts, bottled juices and cheeses and salad fixings. Don't expect a waffle machine or a chef to make you omlets. Dinner is 3 cauldrons of arabic, indian, or some other heated local ethnic variety. There is usually a salad of some mystery greens and sometimes there is dressing. The deserts are sometimes good, sometimes blah. To drink there is usually pear juice, water, or sodas. Unfortunately, I think it would be economically un-feasible for the hotel to make the meals much better because if it was really good, people would eat a lot more and not pay for food next door or at the other hotels. The staff is very courteous and humble. Not all of the front desk staff are very well trained and sometimes make mistakes. The attendants at the kitchen and pool make an effort to smile and visit with you to see how you are doing. Maintenance is usually prompt when you report a problem but you might have to call a couple of times to get the job done right. The lap pool is nice. The gym is too small but well equipped. The internet is usually pretty dependable and reasonably fast but large downloads seem to get throttled back and take a long time. The connection is fine for Skype and work with ethernet ports if you want a hard-wired connection. Overall, if you can negotiate a good, long term rate, its a good deal if you don't want the hassle of getting a apartment and setting up services. It is comfortable and not too glitzy.
