The first time I stayed at the property I was pleasantly greeted and was offer a platinum upgrade. Nothing but good things to say about that time.
My second stay, much different. I was an interruption to the desk clerks day. I asked for an upgraded and none were available. Well there might have been but she did not look in the system. The parking lot was like a ghost town so I'm inclined to think there might have been something she could have done for me if she wanted to. I don't like handicapped accessible rooms but that's what I was given.
There are way too many options in Augusta to put up with staff that don't try to give a good experience.

The staff made the stay very very comfortable. They treated us like a family. Truely a Home Away from Home experience.

One of your front desk employees parked her personal red Ford SUV in the handicap parking each evening. She did NOT display ANY handicap credentials!
These spaces should be for your handicapped guests!!

Hotel was chosen by locality. First room given had hair in the sink, bathtub, and sheets. Was also missing some of the basic supplies (soap/shampoo). Second room had hair in the sink and on the sheets. Third room had less hair than the first two with the addition of what looked like a burn hole. Staff was nice enough to switch my rooms, however, not very empathetic.
The next morning, the manager was willing to cancel my remaining days and did apologize. Unfortunately, she sided with her night staff who said the hair in the rooms were caused by me, which is not true as I had not yet used any of the facilities nor had I even unpacked.

I had a number of issues with the front desk. The first was a beeping smoke alarm that had low batteries. When I asked the front desk to please look at it, the receptionist told me to just take off the battery. Not only was I not going to tamper with an alarm system, I surely was not going to climb on top of a chair to do so. The second issue that I had with the front desk was with a UPS package that was delivered to me at the hotel. After I asked for my package at the front desk, they told me it had not arrived. After I told them that the UPS website showed my package as delivered, it took the front desk two days to finally find my textbook. Also, the receptionists were on the back of the front desk taking personal calls and they seemed annoyed when one approached them with an issue. Finally, the restroom in my bathroom had a hole and it seemed that somebody had pried something away. That room should have been repaired before it was issued out to somebody.

My bedroom was full of lady bugs - on the ceiling, walls and window. The front desk clerk advised there was nothing they could do and had no other rooms. Seh seemed annoyed that I had bothered her. No one came to my room to assist us. At check out, I mentioned the bug problem and that the bugs were landing on our heads during the night making it difficult to sleep. We had two infants with us and I had outpatient surgery the day we checked in. The front desk was aware of this. I did not receive an apology from the front desk and was advised that the manager would be calling me. We stayed at this property on Thursday, January 17, 2013. To date, I have not received a call from the manager. I cannot believe that nothing was done about the bugs and also that the manager did not call me to personally apologize and attempt to make it up to me. Very poor customer service for such a nice property. I will not stay at a Staybridge Suites again and I certainly cannot advise anyone else to either!!
