Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent family hotel We are a family of five and this hotel is able to accommodate that size and give everyone space of their own. On top of all that, our stay overlapped the recent ice storm that hit in February 2014. The staff was working overtime to make sure everyone's stay was comfortable and at the same time, accommodate locals who didn't have power. What a great hotel and staff. I swear the front desk lady never left in the 6 days we were there. I highly recommend this hotel to others who have to be away from home for an extended period of time. We already booked our next stay and will recommend the hotel to our family and friends. March 3, 2014

I travel and stay in hotels for business 200 days a year. Sherry is the best general manager I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Her staff is top notch and they reflect her leadership and work ethic. Maintenance man is the best I have come across if you have a problem. He left a Friday night dinner with his wife to come and clear our tub that would not drain. I can not say enough good things about Sherry and her staff. Dave Prairieville, LA February 23, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient Location but lacking good service Seemed like the staff was either under resourced, or didn't care. We has a two bedroom suite, but needed extra chairs for visitors and a table for food. Neither could be accommodated and the response was so quick and without looking into things. The Pantry was also barren and dint even have detergent for laundry. I was told that the truck hadn't come in yet. Not really the best of experiences. I've been to Staybridges in other cities and had much better service. January 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel I have stayed at Staybridge for several days on two separate occasions this year, and I have enjoyed my stay both times. The front desk is wonderful, professional and friendly. The rooms are large and clean, with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is good and dinner and social time in the evening are very relaxing. The menu could be expanded for those of us who are vegetarians, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Staybridge. November 18, 2013

The breakfast buffet was very good. The free laundry machines was a nice bonus. The only thing that bugged me a little was that there was no cleaning service on the weekend. September 30, 2013

I felt the room rate was reasonable. The breakfast buffet was very good and staff kept foods replaced and the area clean. One thing to look out for, if you book on line and select a suite that has a conference area and want a King Bed, the website will let you select it but you'll find out when you arrive they do not have Conference Area Suites with King Beds------ Otherwise, a great place to stay! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay My wife was close by in a local hospital and I read some reviews indicating that this was a nice hotel. Nice did not cover my experience, it was great. The staff here has to be the friendliest and most helpful that one could expect. The property is very clean and well administered and the rooms are very clean and roomy. I stayed three nights and took full advantage of the full refrigerator and kitchen and enjoyed the spacious room. I could not find anything to complain about if I tried. The breakfast food that is offered each morning offers healthy choices if you do not care for the more standard hotel offerings such as scrambled eggs, sausage and items such as those. They had yogurt, oatmeal, and fresh fruit and juices, along with cereal and reduced fat milk each morning. They also offered hot meals during the dinner period on certain days but I never got to participate in them. I will stay in this hotel the next time that I have to stay in Augusta. May 30, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hit and miss customer service The first time I stayed at the property I was pleasantly greeted and was offer a platinum upgrade. Nothing but good things to say about that time. My second stay, much different. I was an interruption to the desk clerks day. I asked for an upgraded and none were available. Well there might have been but she did not look in the system. The parking lot was like a ghost town so I'm inclined to think there might have been something she could have done for me if she wanted to. I don't like handicapped accessible rooms but that's what I was given. There are way too many options in Augusta to put up with staff that don't try to give a good experience. April 29, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Need higher housekeeping standards Hotel was chosen by locality. First room given had hair in the sink, bathtub, and sheets. Was also missing some of the basic supplies (soap/shampoo). Second room had hair in the sink and on the sheets. Third room had less hair than the first two with the addition of what looked like a burn hole. Staff was nice enough to switch my rooms, however, not very empathetic. The next morning, the manager was willing to cancel my remaining days and did apologize. Unfortunately, she sided with her night staff who said the hair in the rooms were caused by me, which is not true as I had not yet used any of the facilities nor had I even unpacked. April 4, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor customer service from front desk I had a number of issues with the front desk. The first was a beeping smoke alarm that had low batteries. When I asked the front desk to please look at it, the receptionist told me to just take off the battery. Not only was I not going to tamper with an alarm system, I surely was not going to climb on top of a chair to do so. The second issue that I had with the front desk was with a UPS package that was delivered to me at the hotel. After I asked for my package at the front desk, they told me it had not arrived. After I told them that the UPS website showed my package as delivered, it took the front desk two days to finally find my textbook. Also, the receptionists were on the back of the front desk taking personal calls and they seemed annoyed when one approached them with an issue. Finally, the restroom in my bathroom had a hole and it seemed that somebody had pried something away. That room should have been repaired before it was issued out to somebody. January 31, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lady Bugs in Bedroom!!! My bedroom was full of lady bugs - on the ceiling, walls and window. The front desk clerk advised there was nothing they could do and had no other rooms. Seh seemed annoyed that I had bothered her. No one came to my room to assist us. At check out, I mentioned the bug problem and that the bugs were landing on our heads during the night making it difficult to sleep. We had two infants with us and I had outpatient surgery the day we checked in. The front desk was aware of this. I did not receive an apology from the front desk and was advised that the manager would be calling me. We stayed at this property on Thursday, January 17, 2013. To date, I have not received a call from the manager. I cannot believe that nothing was done about the bugs and also that the manager did not call me to personally apologize and attempt to make it up to me. Very poor customer service for such a nice property. I will not stay at a Staybridge Suites again and I certainly cannot advise anyone else to either!! January 22, 2013
