    intended on staying here for 1-2 months as we looked for a home - ended up being more than 6 months, & the stay was nearly perfect for us.

    the hotel is super convenient (you may hear a bit of highway & the walls are a little thin, but otherwise it's quiet), has free parking, great amenities, & most importantly an attentive & caring team of staff.

    from front desk to cleaning to maintenance, we were impressed. having stayed at hotels from 5* to 2*, SB ATX NW was run one of the best. value & enrollment in IHG Rewards are top notch too.

    Inattentive staff both day and night at front desk, no recognition of IHG status, miserably pathetic and uncomfortable pillows, maintenance which MUST have been needed for weeks previously.

    Horrible experience

    Room was not ready when we checked in. We were told to just go wait in the lobby. Sent to a room with trash bags laying in the floor. Room also had cabinet doors off the hinges and laying in the floor. We requested another room, so we were moved. The room did not have a sofa bed as advertised. A portable baby bed had been left in the middle of the floor.Two of the 3 remote controls did not work. We requested batteries to see if that was the problem. The batteries were replaced in one of the remotes and that solved the problem. The second remote required a screw driver to take the battery cover off - was told they would have to turn in a work order for maintenance to fix the following day - we were not going to be there the next day. The sofa in the main area was so dirty and spotted, we didn't even want to sit on it - covered it with a blanket from the bed.
