Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Thankful for Staybridge Suites at Thanksgiving Upon check in were warmly greeted. The lobby is clean. Our room was also very clean and quiet. We stayed 8 days this time and housekeeping did a wonderful job. When we used a cup or plate it was always removed and a clean one back in the cupboard. Fresh towels were also replenished. The breakfast bar is nice, cut up fresh fruit was available, also yogurt and toppings for the eggs and waffles. They have cooked oatmeal daily which is nice it isn't instant. Wouldn't recommend the sweet rolls though but you can always make yourself a Texas waffle. Several juices are available too.All in all a lot of choices. The location is also good. My husband and I used the exercise room each morning. They have one bike several treadmills and a elliptical. The temperature of the room was good. Finally we did laundry and I packed some of the soap packets which you just add directly to the front loader. We did not have to wait for a washer or dryer and it is complementary which is a nice touch for a longer stay. I would recommend this hotel and plan to visit again my next trip to Austin. It was Thanksgiving while we were there and the staff went out of their way to make everything as festive as possible.we will be staying there again the next time we are in Austin. They are a pet friendly hotel so I can say the dog liked the hotel too December 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay in Austin I enjoyed my stay at this suite hotel. Paula checked me in and she was terrific. Efficient, enthusiastic, and friendly. The suite was very clean and well adorned. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything I like (4 cup coffee maker, paper towels, soap, silverware, dishes, etc.). The furniture was great and the internet was very nice (not throttled down as in some other places). I had absolutely no problems here and will definitely return. November 26, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Experience I am a club member of the Staybridge Suites and I only stay at these hotels when I go to Austin. I stay there regularly because my doctors are in Austin and I travel for medical reasons quite often. I booked my stay online directly with the hotel since I am a club member. I alternate between the two Staybridge Suites in Northwest Austin, but over time I prefer the one on Great Hills Trail because of the customer service. When I booked my stay I inadvertently selected the wrong one. I booked at the one closer to Anderson Mill Road. I have not been feeling well because of my medical issues and I just was not as focused as I should have been when I made the reservation. When I got to the hotel at Great Hills Trail they said that they did not have a reservation for me. After some investigation it was determined that I had made it with the wrong hotel. The manager at Great Hills (who I absolutely love by the way) said to call the other hotel and they would probably cancel their reservation and then I could stay where I already was. I did that and was told that if I did not stay at the hotel by Anderson Mill Rd.I would be charged. I plead my case saying that I was in pain and it would be so much easier if I could just stay where I was. No way way the answer. I asked for a supervisor and was told she would not be there for two hours. I asked her to call the supervisor but she said she would not be available. I was crying and asking for an exception. I was told that exceptions could not be made because then she would have to do it for everybody. So I got back in the car (my husband had already unloaded everything so that had to all be repacked into the car). When we got to the hotel at Anderson Mill Road the first thing the staff person told me was, "I called my supervisor and she said we could make the exception for you!!" What?? I was so unhappy the whole time we were there and I will never stay at that location again!! Terrible customer service!! November 25, 2014
