    Perfect location, quiet room

    Close to airport, simple drive to downtown or anywhere else in the area.

    Close to shopping, groceries, movie theatre, zoo, downtown, morning coffee, etc.

    1.5 hours from Banff/Canmore.

    Quiet, clean, spacious room with full kitchen and appliances/dishes. Complimentary coffee and popcorn upon arrival. Large TV, and large workspace.

    Loved the free laundry room, and free parking!

    Just an ok stay

    I want to be fair so I will start with the positive part of the stay

    Positive items
    - Bed was comfortable and clean
    - Towels and linens were clean and in good repair as well
    - Breakfast was very nice in terms of selection and preparation and cleanliness of area
    - Room was a pretty standard Staybridge layout

    Items that could use improvement
    - Front desk staff were not particularly helpful
    - Platinum status was not acknowledged (nor were any upgrades offered)
    - Room had a somewhat unpleasant smell (They were good about supplying a bottle of air freshener though)
    - In the kitchen and bathroom area there were signs advising me that it was MY responsibility to inventory the items that were in the room as I woudl be charged if any were missing. I am not sure how I would ascertain if the proper number of items were there when I arrived, nor do I think it is my job to do inventory control for the hotel. The note itself really was unsettling like they were prewarning me just in case I wanted to steal something.
    - In the breakfast area there was a hand written sign advising that all food must be consumed in the dining area. Again I am not sure if they were worried about food theft or hoarding, but I would rather pay an extra few dollars a night and not have hotel management worry about a few dollars worth of food.

    All in all the stay was ok, but given the above items, general lack of warmth, and the facility showing its age, I would probably opt for a different location next time.

We have investigated and addressed and re trained the individual. Unfortunately the breakfast and inventory items are Brand Standards, and are used as a guideline only.
