Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A horrible night part 2 Also wanted to add that in addition to not being recognized as a priority club member during check in I have discovered that I was not given any reward points and this stay was not listed as a qualifing stay.( I will add that the hotel did end up refunding us the cost of the stay) Due to our horrible experience I feel that I should have been credited with the reward points I should have earned for this stay and given some bonus points in addition. I was in room 125 and unless the hotel was fully booked the rooms near this one should not be used. April 15, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A horrible night Problem # 1. This is a pet friendly hotel. We chose this hotel due to its close proximety to the Buffalo airport as we had a early flight (5:45am) the next morning and busy day ahead. After returning to the hotel from dinner we were greated by a obnoxiously loud barking dog from the room across the hall. A call to the front desk yeilded no empathy and no resolution. Problem # 2. We procede to prepare for the busy day ahead and get our showers before bed. My daughter was first to shower and the bath tub was not draining. Another call to the front desk again no empathy and "we'll send someone down with a plunger". Guy comes to the room after a little while with a plunger looks in the bathroom and says " oh it's the bath tub, I'll be right back with another plunger". Guy comes back and after trying to work the clog for a while says " there's a big clog of something nasty in there that I can't get out". Solution offered was to give access to another room to use the facilities and to gives free parking #we had the park stay and go rate#. We were given a room key to a room on the 2nd floor. So my wife and I had to traverse up to the 2nd floor with our bathrrom stuff to get our showers and then go back to our room on the 1st floor. Meanwhile problem #1 the dog is still barking. The dog was barking while the guy was trying to unclog our shower and continued to bark until well after midnight. Needless to say this was a horrible way to start our vacation. My suggestion to this hotel is 1. If you are going to allow pets then keep them isolated from those who don't. 2. Considering you have some newly remodeled rooms put people in those rooms first#especially priority club members#. It leaves people with a better impression of your hotel. 3. Your house keeping staff should be checking rooms better so that things like clogged drains are not discovered by guests. April 15, 2013

Because of the hotel & restaurant staff - that's why. Each year I stay here, I make new friends. Whether they work here or flying out of the Buffalo Airport. It is the hotel, the staff and ease of traveling in and out of town that always brings me back . April 10, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Second stay will be the last I had stayed at this Hotel on a previous business trip and it was not bad. On the second stay I had 2 business associates with me who stayed in separate rooms. The first thing I realized on this stay was that there is no elevator in this hotel. The second problem was that all three rooms would not get warm enough. My boss spent the night at 66 degrees while my room made it to 71. Another associates room made it to 70 but that still was not comfortable. We checked out after one night and found another hotel. This hotel is also hard to see at night and a little hard to find. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I felt I was in a $39.00 a night fleebag I stay in many Holiday Inn properties weekly for business, this by far was the worst room I have ever walked into. The heating system was poor and couldn't even warm the room up staying on all night a 78 degrees, the carpet was sticky and dirty especially around the beds.. The tub was grey and dirty with hair all over. The room was disgusting!!, I had a 5 day reservation and checked out the next morning.. January 15, 2013

The property is decent, nothing fancy. could probably use some updates, but overall very comfortable and usually priced right. The best part is that it is attached to an pretty good bar/restaurant. Max's has great drinks and the food is better than you would expect from a hotel. If you are looking to stay near the airport, this is a decent place. December 4, 2012

Since I am a Priority Member, I asked for an upgrade and was taken care of in this upgrade. The room was very comfortable and fulfilled all my needs. I will definitely return for future stays if my travel day ends in Buffalo NY. In my travel for work, I generally end my day by checking my GPS for the closest hotel, and like to stay at Holiday Inns or Express when possible throughout NY, PA OH, and Michigan, as this is my territory. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IDEAL LOCATION FOR TRAVEL AND SHOPPING We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and each time found that the things that mattered most were evident and fully functional. The room size was fine, the beds were comfortable and the bed linen clean. The washroom was in good working order with the shower functioning well. The towels were relatively new and clean. The food served in the restaurant was good with the staff being very polite and proficient. There is no reason why anyone would not be happy with the accomodations supplied at this Holiday Inn. I called the hotel 20 mins prior and someone there picked us up (no charge). We grabbed dinner at the on-site restaurant and had everything charged to our room. The staff the following morning then drove us to the airport so we can pick up a car rental. There was plenty of free parking too. There was no free breakfast but that was okay; I'm not on vacation to eat oat meal. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and very close to the airport. October 25, 2012
