    When we checked in the receptionist asked us why we were in town. When we told her that we were visiting a family member in the ICU she advised us that a hotel discount was available. That was very nice of her to advise us.

    Great customer service, dirty rooms and terrible breakfast

    I have stayed at many Staybridges since I travel a lot for work and this one did not meet my expectations. The rooms were dirty and not properly cleaned. The bathroom had hair in it and there were popcorn kernels under the bed and used washcloths in my room upon check-in. The gym was TERRIBLE. For an extended stay, there needs to be more variety of equipment and machines available. The gym had 2 treadmills, a bike, and an elliptical and only the treadmills were working properly. The breakfast was terrible and the food at the social was gross. There are normally two draft beers available but one of them was always out and only Bud lIght was available. The positives are that the bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and attentive. This hotel is probably the best you will do sine it is Columbia, MO after all but I expected more from a Staybridge.

After your review I did inspect the gym and all machines are in working order, I do apologize if you encountered an issue with the machines. We did have to wait for a tap for one of our kegs during your stay with us, once Budweiser Distributor fixed the keg we were able to service both free beers to our guests.
