Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay at the Staybridge This is the second time I have stayed at the Staybridge in the past few months and upon checking in everyone there remembered me and asked about myself and family. Everyone there goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, especially Mrs. Sherri and the kitchen staff. Highly reccomend to anyone looking for a quality place to stay in the Columbus/Ft Benning area. December 9, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Big Columbus Diappointment My husband and I travel frequently with our two dogs. We purposely seek out Staybridge Suites because they are so pet friendly. This was the first time at the Columbus GA location and it will be our last. We stayed two nights and had numerous complaints, which I will list the biggest ones (but not all) here. First of all, for a “pet friendly” property the pet area was nothing but a small green patch on the side of the back parking lot. Neither TV remotes worked and after two times going down to the front desk to exchange them the first day, the second day the clerk came to the room to fix them. The worst and unacceptable issue was the water and plumbing – the first night I took a shower but after 15 minutes of letting the water WARM up (it never got hot) I got in the tub to take my shower and half way thru it turned cold and the water did not drain from the tub - so I was standing in water taking a cold shower….!!!! We were told the maintenance man was not on duty at night to call back in the morning. The next day – STILL NO HOT WATER – we were told the maintenance man called out sick. The new clerk was more helpful from the previous night’s clerk, she even came up to our room and snaked the drains so water would drain from the tub. But STILL NO HOT WATER!! To make a long story short – stay away from the Columbus GA locations of Staybridge Suites. Give other locations a try, especially if you have pets. Most are extremely pleasant and relaxing, the opposite was true of our experience for the last two days. December 6, 2013

Michelle is totally awesome and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Sherry and Brenda at breakfast were great as well. We will keep staying here everytime were in the area. Even took care of my odd request and always went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. Michelle and team was eager to make sure my stay was extremely comfortable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place for Family Gathering! My youngest son was at Ft. Benning over summer for Basic and AIT training. We stayed here for Family Weekend at the end of July and were so pleased with the experience that we stayed again for his graduation at the end of August. The 2 bedroom (3 beds) suite along with the fold out couch meant we could all be together and was actually less expensive than having to get multiple rooms. In addition we were able to cook meals in the suite and saved money by not having to eat out. Special kudos go to Angel at the front desk. On our second trip, there were mechanical issues in the room to which we were assigned. She went above and beyond, late at night, to the extent she called her boss at home, to make sure we were accomodated. Nice clean hotel. Great staff. Can't go wrong staying here. October 19, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2nd stay I stayed at the Benning Location and it is a great turn around from the original stay. all the staff is great and I have not had the original issues again. I will continue to stay at this location on my trips to the area. I was unsure until Ms. Payne on the staff made special arrangements during curtousy time on Wed. My friend and myself ran late for hamburgers and she let us have some burgers and etc. to make. She went above and beyond. September 8, 2013

I have also have not recieved any points or bonus points for my stay there yet that are supposed to be reported in a few days. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by It's a shame It is the little things that alienate frequent travelers. I was in room 413 three months ago, the ice machine was not working. Three months later, either broke again or still not working. In spite of a great staff, a super clean property, this little thing will keep me from returning. Did I mention 413 is one door away from the absolute furthest from the front desk possible? (Front desk because that is the option for ice when you discover the ice machine in the fridge is non working) The elevator was acting up (one working sometimes) and the wifi went down around 8 PM.... This is a fairly new property and these kind of issues are not acceptable. August 19, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stained couch and great service First of all the front desk staff is really great and friendly. We were there because we had a family member in ICU. We stayed in room 217 and the first thing we noticed was the couch was severely stained, it looked liked powder was on top of the stains. We looked for a sheet to put over it, but there was not one to use. Also the carpet was worn. We didn't complain about the stained couch only because we were exhausted from driving 14 hours straight, through the night. When we checked out I informed the desk lady that the couch was severely stained, and she laughed and said it was from a solider who decided to die his hair red, white and blue., and that he got it all over the couch. We had to do laundry while we were there and one of the cleaning staff had put their uniform in the dryer and it had soured while in the dryer, so we had to take out the soured uniform and clean the dryer before we could put our laundry in. The rest of the dryers were being used and it was late at night. The breakfast was the same thing every morning, and they never had enough yogurt, we got to breakfast early and it was always gone. And they ran out of juice. July 26, 2013

If you meet Keirsten at the fron desk, she will take care of you and make sure your stay is great. Charlie is the GM and will take care of everyone like family too. Staybridge works hard to makes sure their guests are more that just guests, I feel like family when I come here. Clean, comfortable rooms at a great price. You cant beat it anywhere in Columbus and I've stayed at all of them. June 12, 2013

I was always acknowledged like I was a friend, or at least a welcome acquiantance. Loved the complimentary dinners too.
