Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away Travelling for work can be difficult. Staybridge Suites Covington eased my time away from home. I originally chose this hotel because of positive reviews for a pet friendly accommodation. However, it will be my choice even when I travel without my pets. From Stan at the front desk to the GM Eric, every one I came in contact with tried their best to make my stay a pleasant one. I appreciate the opportunities to socialize with the hot breakfast and evening reception. I also appreciate the privacy offered. I received prompt attention for all my requests and the privacy needed after a long day at work as well. The room was very clean and well appointed and the location is terrific. Close to great restaurants and quaint Mandeville, the hotel is also 40 minutes from the French Quarter. Kudos to the management and staff for making my time away from home...another home away from home. :-) June 17, 2014

The overall experience was good, what it kill it was that The iron located in my room didn't work properly and i hate wrinkles. the second one that really disgust me, was huge bags of trash in the hallways. and this one is for all IHG hotel, im vegetarian, having a decent breakfast at holiday inns express its a nightmare. except for non very helty options. in regular holiday inns since they have restaurant there is like 2 - 3 options to choose, but definitely you guys need to add almond milk to our breakfast options. Our only draw-backs were the horrible french toast at breakfast, our room was next to the stairwell and inconsiderate people let the door slam, and the toilet area is very small (can't close the door until you are all the way inside. The suite itself is well equipped,the space is good. Wish the evening reception was every night of the week (only tues-thurs) It was great! January 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient and dog friendly We routinely travel with our dog and appreciate clean quiet dog friendly hotels. Our room was clean but we had rather noisy neighbors over head. The breakfast was pretty basic and the fresh fruit was minimal. Considering the cost of the room especially with the extra charge for the dog the breakfast was rather disappointing. January 2, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable bed and unexpected room problems We have had this company for a long time in many different cities and rated the best qualities and services but at this Staybridge Suites in Convington, LA is the most unpleasant hotel that we ever slept due to many unexpected issues in the whole room. For example, the beds were horrible and cheap. The shower water was out of the range making it harder to wash off the body soap. In the kitchen area, the door knob, came off in loose and hardly opened the door for trash which it was very inconvenience. Also, the A/C was terrible because it stops off and on in the middle of the night causing the cold and warm changes back and forth that we couldn't sleep well. The worst of all, the toilet is not flushing properly. We were fed up with this so we went to the front desk and requested another room which it was across from it. It was better because the toilet and door knob are functionally working but the beds are still the same as well as A/C. They apologized and credited us the half price for the second night but it should have credited one night instead. We like the Staybridge Suites because we have dogs but for this location we prefer a different hotel instead. November 20, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Reservation? I reserved one smoking room and one non-smoking room. We were told that the only smoking rooms available weren't clean, so my coworker had to get a non-smoking. They promised to get him switched over to a smoking king suite and it never happened. In terms of the room, it wasn't as clean as I remember them being previously. There were some stains on the doors and walls, and the couch and chair looked very dingy. We make a trip for business that is almost a week long twice a year, and I believe we will be switching hotels. October 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent- best room ever from a "chain" hotel! Modern, well appointed lobby; large room with comfortable sitting area; great mattress/slept like a baby. The full kitchen was a nice surprise as well. Staff was very courteous & helpful. The complimentary full breakfast was not expected & offered a huge selection of choices & was way beyond the typical pastries/coffee/juice. Wish you had more locations in our area (Alabama). My fellow co workers all stay here and stay the week and always get a very warm welcome and a great well wishes when we leave. The Rooms are very comfortable and you could not ask for a better stay. I had a couple of requests which were accommodated without hesitation. The location is great, the room was smoke free, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Entertainment includes a nice theatre room, a pool with available grill and an exercise room. The hotel offers their guests availability to computer and printing if needed along with free WIFI for personal electronics. The breakfast room is neat and clean and offers a wide selection of food and beverages. It is home away from home! August 29, 2013

Property/ room was nicely quiet. My dog was welcome at the property. Property was clean and stylishly decorated. Was disappointed that the Internet advertised a hot tub and none was provided. The pool was nice though. Disappointed that most of the fitness machines were out of order. June 4, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The room was excellent I booked a room for a night in Covington before we departed on a cruise out of New Orleans the next day. The price of Staybridge Suites were so much cheaper than any hotel I found in New Orleans and much nicer too. Over the years I have stayed in New Orleans and Covington hotels but none have been this nice or affordable. The room was very clean and the bed felt awesome after the long car ride. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was much better than most. They offered a lot of amenities but since we were there for only one night we did not get a chance to try any of it. Also about Covington..the crime rate is much lower than New Orleans and I highly recommend giving this town a tour. May 28, 2013

Dining area well organized, food variety expansive, hot was hot and cold was cold. Parking lot well lighted; plenty of grassy safe areas for dogs with plenty of trash cans for dog products. Staff usually follow the lead of their management. This means the hotel manager, JD does a GREAT job and is an asset to your hotel chain. I will stay there again when scheduled in the Covington area.
