Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Scarlett50 Love this hotel!
I come to Phoenix fairly frequently and this is the only hotel I stay in. The suites are set up to suit my families needs and, as a very light sleeper, I find the hotel to be quiet and comfortable. During my last stay, there was a pre-season football game on Saturday and the hotel was booked. I expected to hear rowdy partiers come in after the game but did not hear anything and slept through the night!
The staff are ALWAYS courteous, friendly and helpful and during this most recent visit, Oscar, the manager, went out of his way to help me with an issue. Having been in the hotel and restaurant business for many years, I understand the difficulty of their job and appreciate the outstanding customer service they provide. In all my stays, there is not one negative aspect I have to say about this hotel except that I was very frustrated to find they were totally booked last year when I was planning a visit and couldn't get a room it was spring training season - honestly, it was totally my fault for waiting too long to book. I would highly recommend this hotel, and have recommended it to anyone who asks. The location is great too - close to Cabela's, restaurants, movie theaters and, of course, the Outlet Mall!

We had stayed at the Staybridge in Glendale for two other occasions when our son played baseball. This 3rd time would be our last. We stayed there for a week in June and it was very disappointing. The pool was filthy and green the whole time we were there and they finally closed it at one point to try and repair it on our final day there. Everyday I asked the staff for a status on the pool and everyday they game me a different excuse. So, basically my family could not swim at all during our stay when the temp in AZ was over a 100 degrees. They were miserable and so were we.

Recently spent 10 days at the Staybridge for a baseball tournament. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Staff was very good and took care of all of our requests. Free laundry was a huge plus with the enormous amount of dirty baseball uniforms and needing to have it clean every day. Great location for Peoria, Glendale and Goodyear spring training facilities, 20 minutes or less to each of them. Multiple shopping, restaraunt and entertainment options within walking distance.

Great room, great value, and pleasant, helpful staff. Unfortunately, our stay overlapped that of at least one boys' baseball team, and the teenage boys acted as teenage boys do, including running through the halls playing a "shooting" game and leaving wet towels and trash in the hallways and elevator. The pool area became uninhabitable because of the horseplay. They also apparently somehow broke the pool filter on the weekend, which wasn't fixed until Thursday, the day we left. The staff seem truly concerned with making everyone's stay as pleasant as possible, but if they're going to book large groups of teenagers, then some adult supervision is necessary.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Samantha34 Poor front desk staff
It appeared there needed to be more than 1 person working at the front desk as I had 3 separate occurrences over 1 1 night stay. Check in was fine; however, about 1/2 hr. later which was about 3:30 mind you only about 1/2 hr. from check in time & no one was at the front desk for assistance for over 20 minutes when I just wanted to ask about ice machines. Thankfully another guest who had been staying there helped me by informing me it was in the room, you just had to turn in on. I had no idea....maybe a blonde moment, but would have been nice to know w/out having to wait 20 minutes. Later on, maybe an hour later, my other guest went to check in to the room which a key was left for her and she was next in line & instead of the front desk associate asking my friend if he could help her quickly, he took off and took the woman just in front of her on a tour of the room she would be booking 2 weeks out to ensure it was adequate enough for her, while my friend stood there waiting for again about 1/2 hr. Finally when I went to check out at approximately 11:30, surprise, surprise, no one was at the front desk (waited approx. 15 minutes until he came back) then, instead of helping me, he answers not 1 but 2 phone calls & booked rooms for callers, another 15 minutes passes and finally he even acknowledges me and then says can I help you, I just wanted to check out which took all of 3 minutes at most. Personally, I think that was so unprofessional, considering I was an existing guest standing there, he should have said to the callers, please hold a moment. I would have been right out of there. Overall poor quality service for sure!

It was my first time at a Staybridge, but won't be the last. Pua Costa and Cynthia were awesome at check-in (they were awesome the whole time we were there! Really hard workers, and so nice! They were a pleasure to work with!) My team and I travel approximately 45 weeks a year, so this hotel really felt like a second home. Breakfast and the manager's receptions were great ways to start and end the day. We had team members spread out in several hotels nearby, but I'll recommend they all stay here when we're back in July. Thanks for the hospitality!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TribeFan2013 Sunny skies and quiet rooms
We had a great week of baseball! The hotel was easy to find, close to lots of retail, some within walking distance. Great coffee and good food for breakfast. Complete kitchen and full refrigerator. TV selections a bit limited and couch and chairs in room uncomfortable. Always room at the pool though!
We purposely chose a hotel midway between Goodyear and Surprise and the location worked great for us.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by rmm0605 Month-long Stay
Stayed for a month on a work assignment. The convenience of having my own kitchen and easy access to laundry and the pool was great. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The room was tired and needs to be updated. The couch was terribly uncomfortable and dirty, only sat on it to tie my shoes in the morning. There were dirty stains on the walls above the couch. The TV channel selection was limited. I did have to ask for soap whenever I ran out, as it did not get replenished with the light touch cleaning.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Reeree2 Terrible sound proofing
The hotel and staff were very nice. Our only complaint and it is a big one is you could hear everything when you were in your room. When the person in the room next ours snored or sneezed. Or th person in the room upstairs from ours got up ever morning at 3am for a business call. It was a lot to deal with and we were stuck since they said the whole hotel was booked and I doubt moving us would have helped since I am guessing the entire building was poorly built. And since it was spring training all of the hotels in the area were booked. I would definitely not recommended this hotel if you want a quiet nights sleep.

Overall, we had a great week there, and enjoyed the accommodations. The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs. The location can't be beat, with lots of shopping and restaurants basically across the street. Access to all of the ballparks for spring training is great too.

We spent our wedding night here before going on our honeymoon. We loved the stay, and it was definitely worth the pay. Compared to other hotels, this one was roomy and had many accomodations. We didn't order anything, but they made us feel at home.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Susie04 Room design was great for extended stay, Option for meals was good, Service was generally good
We loved the way the room was set up with the separate bedroom and living area and kitchen area. It was nice to have the option to eat breakfast in our room or with others downstairs. It was also nice to have the option of evening meals 3 nights a week; although, sometimes the food was not hot.
In general, we were pleased with the service but we did have to ask for service several days. Although, we knew it was not going to be thoroughly done everyday during our extended stay but the minimum was not done either. I don't think our unit was ever swept or dusted during our 3 week stay which was sort of disappointing because we loved the room, hotel and the area. Very convenient to get on major highways. All in all, we liked our stay but hope the hotel addresses the other issues.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by yvette907 Everything was wonderful!!
My family stayed at the Staybridge Suites for eleven days. We were there for a football tournament. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The room was large and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping everything very clean. The hotel grounds were very nice and the pool was awesome. I was very impressed with their very complete and delicious breakfast! Three nights a week they even provided an evening meal which offered the opportunity to socialize with other guests. It felt like home! It was not easy to leave! Thank you Staybridge in Glendale, Arizona for a wonderful stay!! We will definately be seeking out other Staybridge Suites at other locations we visit.

I ahd an excellent stay. The staff was extraordinarilly friendl and helpful. The pool nd breakfast area were beyond expectations. The only thing I did not like was the couch in the room.
The young lady who checked me in during the afternoon of 10/26 performed her duties in an exemplary manner. She met my request for a diet Sprite in the refriderator (which no one clerk has ever done and I am a Platium Priority Club Member so I stay A LOT). Then she contacted Priority Rewards Club regarding a discrepency on my accounty. She went way above and beyond.

Place is great, location is great , Just when checking in we were given a room on the 4th floor usually not a problem for able people. But when your friend is a 6ft 6 inch man and paralyzed and confined to a wheel chair not the ideal place to be when an emergency forces you to use the stairs. I specified this upon booking and was amazed that Staybridge would ignore a must request for our stay. After a wait of about 45 minuets in the lobby they found a room. After a long day and ride of 350 miles my friend was forced to sit in his own urine because he couldn't fit into the doorway of the lobbys bathroom. My friend is a retired US Marine who was disabled fighting in Iraq and always reminds me that handicapped people are treated like second class citizens. What a shame but I now I have to agree with him.Would appreciate if maybe Staybridge would compensate my friend with maybe a free stay.
