My dad and I were only able to stay at the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea Resort for one night but enjoyed our short stay from the time we checked in until the time we left.
All of the staff offered great[More]
customer service. Everyone was hospitable and very helpful.
The property is beautiful. It's very large and spread out. If you like an open property and not to feel like people are all around you, this is a good hotel for you. I prefer smaller more intimate properties, but my dad loved the openness of the Crowne Plaza.
The beach front is one of the best at the Dead Sea. Most Dead Sea resorts have wooden ramps for guests to enter the Sea with, as the shoreline is rocky and can be difficult to get into the water. The Crowne Plaza has laid sand bags at the entrance to the sea so it is easy and safe to enter the water.
The pools are massive and there are several of them throughout the property.
Overall a great place to stay and good value for money. [Less]
The staff deserve 5 stars for friendliness, assistance and comprehension and delivery of a 5 star service.
Elegant, comfortable and relaxing. The new beach is amazing with gold sand. The narrow rocky[More]
strip with pebbles between the gold sand and the water of the dead sea could and should have been avoided at all costs. I give the beach 4 out of 5 stars. A mile or 2 away on the public beach there is a soft dark grey sand just before you enter the water which was like heaven. I wish Holiday Inn finished the beach properly but 4 stars is still high as I score their beach.
The swimming pools were excellent.
The room was clean, tidy, comfortable but the duvet are too warm even with the a/c on. I could not sleep well because it was too hot under the duvet and too cold without the cover. Still, very comfortable bed and pillows.
As a whole, it is very much worth the money and I highly recommend the Holiday Inn. [Less]
