Ranked as the 16th "most walkable" of the 50 largest U.S. cities by Walk Score, Denver has no lack of outdoor activities for visitors, including guests and their four-legged companions at our Denver pet friendly hotels.
Love to shop? Take your pup and head for the Aspen Grove Shopping Center. This complex has been dog-friendly since it opened in 2001, and it promotes events centered around these lovable pets. About 45 of the shopping center's stores allow dogs; the ones that do display a decal by the door letting visitors know that leashed, mannerly pups are welcome inside. There is plenty of water available in bowls outside many of the shops, and retailers often have treats on hand for your pooch.
Give Fido a place to stretch his legs by visiting Tony Grampsas Dog Park. The 2.5-acre park in Golden plovides plenty of room for larger dogs to run off some of their excess energy. Dogs must be leashed while outside the dog park, but are free to run leash- free inside. Note that water is not provided, and this grass park can get muddy after a rainfall.
Leashed dogs are invited to accompany you to My Sweet Bakery, where you can treat yourself to some of the city's best artisanal baked goods to take back to your suite at our Denver pet friendly hotel.
