    Very Unprofessional Treatment

    I have stayed at this hotel about 30 plus nights over the past 3 years and I just stayed my last night based on the assumptions and unprofessionalism of the Sales Director. My family once again had a great stayed at this hotel until checkout. We stayed 4 nights and on the first night we had a little problem with the noise of the guest up stairs. After several attempts to the get the situation take care of it was finally resolved. We had moved on after that first and had a great next three nights and didn't think of that first night until checkout when the hotel reminded us with an apology. We decided to check out a night early because I had finished with my work in the area. I had a very pleasant check out experience with the young man at the counter while the sales director hide in the back office. My wife had to return to our room for a forgotten item and when she walked past the front counter the Sales Director decided to attack my wife with her assumptions of why we had left early. She repeatedly decided to make my wife feel guilty for checkout early and said that the hotel is tired of "bending over backwards for us (the guest)". As my wife did not know what she was talking about she kindly said goodbye and left. I return to comfort this person that sat in the back office while I check out early because she rather attack someone else then me. She kept repeating herself by saying "We bend over backwards for you people and your checking out early" and "feel free to go somewhere else next time, its your choice not to come back here". In 30 or so pervious nights stayed here, I don't think we have complained once. And the one time we have the smallest complaint about some noise, the sales director decides to act this unprofessional! The Sales director has many times poured us a beer during social hour, other than pouring a beer she has never done anything for my family and for her to insist that she "bends over backwards" for us is insulting. A great example of how she will not bend over backwards for the customer. We stayed at this location last fall and I called the Sales Director to see if my family could get upgraded to a bigger room. She told me no cause they only had 1 left and need to keep that open for purchase. I called the front desk back 10 mins later and quickly upgraded me to one of the three empty 2 bedroom suites. She will not "bend over backwards" as she tells every customer to their face and will make you feel bad about things that are part of basic customer service expectations. The counter staff here is great. They have always taking care of me even when I don't ask or expect it. The General Manager will say that the Sales Director is not wrong and that the customer misunderstood her intents. This is the first time I have ever been told by any form of customer service that they are "tired of bending over backwards for the customer". How would you interrupt that as a customer?
