We were very please with the whole experience, very comfortable room, great kitchen in the room, beautiful great room and very nice breakfast options. I will definitely stay there again when in Jacksonville, and look for them when traveling. November 16, 2013

So anytime that childrent walked too much the room below us would call the front desk staff to complain. We will definitely return but not with the children. November 5, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean suite, great layout with comfortable bed! Quiet location with easy access to grocery shopping. (Across the street at the parking lot with a stoplight for easy crossing). Bed was very comfortable with soft sheets and had what looked liked a new comforter. Kitchen was well designed with a full refrigerator & ice maker. It had a 2 burner stove top & large microwave with glass that rotated inside. Shower had a curved shower curtain. This Staybridge offered free access to a laundry room with 4 washers & dryers that I used. The suite has dishes, flatware, pots & pans, glasses (including wine glasses), dish towels and other accessories. Free hot breakfast is offered every morning. Tuesday - Thursday a light meal with cocktails are offered. I was given an upgrade without asking because of my IHG Reward Club status. This hotel is very suitable for long term stays. I will definitely stay here again when in town. October 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great hotel I cannot believe the hotel only got a 4.8 out of 5 star rating. The staff, room, breakfast and social hour was fantastic. The closenest to Jacksonville Beach. There is numerous restaurants in walking distance and the price is good. Maybe I shouldn't praise the place so much as it will give them a reason to raise the rates. But truthfully it is a great property in fact we are returning there in 8 days while I get medical treatment in the Mayo Clinic October 19, 2013

We most appreciate the cleanliness and all the details in the rooms. Everything we needed was there and I did not have to run out to a store for dish detergent or paper towels or anything! We found the rates to be fair, lower and a better value for us. The room was comfortable and welcoming and the service is superior. I appreciate the housekeeping schedules with the options available.. Yes, we definitely will be returning anytime we visit Jacksonville. Thank you for an enjoyable stay! October 19, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room, bad cable service The only issue I had with my stay was that HBO kept freezing up for hours even days at a time. Beyond that the food provided for breakfast and the light dinners was fantastic! The people serving and cooking the food were also very helpful and friendly. The front desk staff was not as pleasant as I would have liked, but they were cordual. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. All in all a good place for an extended visit for the price! September 30, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wow! the staff was wonderful - always pleasant -always smiling- always had things in control even with a full hotel. they really seemed to enjoy hosting guests-social hour lasted all evening but they never seemed rigid or put out by our extension..they seemed to enjoy themselves as much as we did. actually have never had such a great experience at a hotel before. they even enjoyed the four legged guests both inside and outside the hotel..thanks for a nice time September 23, 2013

I wasn't recognized as a platinum member, nor was I offered any perks beyond what a non platinum member would get. Finally, after I asked, and only as an after thought, a bottle of water was delivered to me. Front desk personnel said: "I don't often offer water because people frequently don't want one" No morning news papers were available. Front desk personnel said this was because a big group of IRS people were there, and they took them all ..... (arrangements should be made, so that at least platinum members get a paper in this type of a situation to prevent my unfortunate experience). Pillows need improvement ... too small, not comfortable enough. I liked the reception with beer and pizza. September 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Felt Like Home. Exceptional Staff I am so pleased with my last stay at Staybridge Suites. Every three months, I travel to Jacksonville for medical appointments at Mayo Clinic. Because I am disabled and have picky requests, I always feel embarrassed, consider myself needy, and cringe whenever I ask for my usual preferences. Although the hotel was sold out during my stay, every request was honored and then some! I slept so well. I really did feel at home. Because I slept so well, I missed the wonderful breakfast the day of check out (the first morning, I had extremely early appointments so I missed it then, too.) The housekeeping staff were so accommodating. I asked for late check-out, and no one bothered me or made me feel as if I was imposing. The visit at Mayo Clinic and my health in general made me feel horrible. It wasn't a pleasant trip. However, the staff at Staybridge had me driving home with a smile. In fact, between housekeeping and the wonderful front-desk clerk, Avianca, my stay was perfect and brightened my spirits. Especially Avianca, who really represents the hotel in a friendly, professional, personable style. She has a smile that lights up a room. I really appreciate all she did to help me out, even if it were to lend an ear to me and *especially* making me feel at-home, not rushed, and truly welcome. I will return soon, of course. I never stray from IHG brands, either. Thank you so much! I can't rate Breakfast or Social Evening Reception, because I couldn't attend. September 18, 2013

The kitchen in the room made it very easy to make our own meals. The free breakfast was pretty awesome. Plenty to choose from. Pool was clean. Property was quiet. Overall a great experience! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by long-term Not sure why I got this, as I've lived here for many months, and plan on many more. However, I would suggest a few things: 1. The (very heavy) room doors (unlike other facilities owned by the same parent company) have no door closers on them, and reverberate like explosions anytime a typical oblivious American leaves their room...must be my PTSD. 2. More variety at the dinner would be nice. 3. The A/C units sound like hurricanes, and cannot be shut off, even if you shut them off! (Really...they keep cycling every few minutes). I recently stayed at a Holiday Inn Express (San Antonio - it was magnificent), and theirs was quiet as a mouse. 4. Excellent Housekeeping staff, when they don't use the metal bar to keep the door open, which vibrates over two floors (must be the PTSD again). 5. I was dismayed that, though I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars here, that I am not eligible for Rewards Club...not impressed on that score. Thanks, ANSpreen September 10, 2013

The spacious rooms allow us to have a home away from home to share with her. The staff is super helpful and friendly and remember us when we come back each time. The evening socials had great food and provided a good atmosphere to socialize. The hotel is conveniently located on a busy strip with lots of options for dining. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I wanted to like this hotel I got a good deal on my room and really wanted to like this place but the room was not cleaned very well and the tissue box in the room was dirty and filled with something. It was really strange. I don't want to go into detail. I told the girl at the front desk and all she said was it was gross. I didn't notice until the next morning after my stay and had to leave before the room was cleaned and any staff was their that could come see. The girl at front desk offered me gloves to see what it was in the box. I really would have liked someone to come see and give me some sort of discount or anything. July 26, 2013

Mom was 96 this year and was treated with special care. This was our second but not our last! We especially enjoyed the breakfasts, the evening dinners and the endless coffee. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Second stay and still my Fav JAX Hotel This is our 2nd stay for eye surgery this year. The hotel is clean and that's a big concern under this situation. Having the social hour food was a bonus the night after surgery when we didn't feel like dinner out. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite this time and as comfortable as the 2 bedroom. Staff were so helpful both visits with some extra needs. Where ever I travel I will look for a Staybridge after my experiences here. June 26, 2013
