Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bed was comfortable and service was great The room was clean and the beds comfortable. THe bathroom had too little counter space to comfortably prep for the day. We only had breakfast in the restaurant and it was subpar. The potatoes tasted freezer burned and the coffee was not very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Over all a good experience but stopped eating in the restaurant. May 20, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wrong Room For the most part the stay was fine. But I was given the key to somebody else's room. When I unlocked and opened the door to find somebody else in what I thought was my room I was shocked. The other guy was pretty upset as well. Now I open the doors to a Holiday Inn with caution, I slowly check to make sure the light is off, etc. I'm not sure how it's even possible in your system to rent out the same room to two different people on the same night, but it happened. Front desk staff, Kelly and Rachel, were very friendly and helpful. Especially, Rachel was helping us get the room keys changed back and forth after we got room upgraded. (nice to be platinum member!) Room was clean and comfortable. I am very pleased at a good rate with very good service. April 2, 2013

We were down at the pool on Saturday early evening and after about 45 minutes to an hour later, a staff member came in and asked us to leave. She didn't ask everybody only a few. I understand you were at capacity because of the dance competition but we had every right to use the pool for as long as we wanted. This was extremely rude on the part of your staff and next year I will consider staying elsewhere. March 29, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay Our stay was a mini "vacation" as were were unable to take our usual Florida holiday. What an enjoyable and relaxing time we had. The staff was very accommodating, professional and polite. We are Priority Club members and the coupons we were presented with upon check-in were a surprise and great incentive to enjoy the hotel restaurant. We had our grandson stay with us. "Kids Eat For Free" is an awesome deal and he enjoyed the meals, as well as the heated pool. Our request for a room close to the elevator due to health issues was no problem. Rooms were spot on clean as was the hotel and grounds. It was nice to be pampered and will be back. Thank you to all the staff. February 25, 2013

When you walk in your are welcomed by very nice staff - the Front Desk Person actually remembered me from my first stay! How sweet! We both agreed that the beds at this hotel are the most comfortable we have every slept in and the pillows are amazing! We haven't had a chance to eat in the restaurant yet but the breakfast always smells amazing! We plan to stay there every time we visit our daughter! January 30, 2013

Parking up to 3 wks for no additional charge. Tim Hortons was just down the street a few blocks. Easy access on / off I-81. Would definitely stay here again - very friendly staff also. We rushed down to find that there were no other people and never was. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Still Room for Improvement I stay in many Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Express hotels, and have certain expectations with the hotel brand. While most expectations were met, the dining room food and service quality was sub-par. Even after I sent my order back to have my mashed potatoes reheated, they were not returned as hot. And my steak just became colder. The waiter seemed to be unattentive, slow, and never around when needed. This was all during a very slow time of operation, way past the dinner rush. It turned from tolerable to a large dissatisfaction, as the low quality service was sustained during the entire meal. Even getting the check was a slow process, as Mr. Not-to-be-Found was inaccessible. Regarding the room, the bathroom was way too small. The toilet was crammed in at a 45 degree angle, just missing the door as it opens. Virtually no counter space for toiletries, etc. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, the dining room experience was so bad that I will not stay here again. November 8, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Location for Conference There are just a few concerns I have with this hotel. The food that was served for lunches and dinners were good and I would eat them again. The breakfast food that was served really needed more of a variety. The SAME food all 3 days at breakfast, help the conference planners out by offering some other low cost alternatives. I was disappointed that there was bread but couldn't toast it. No fresh fruit accept what was cut. Although the bottled soda was nice, I would have liked to see more bottled water. We're not teenagers attending these conferences, provide us adult with some real options. After all the fund the hotel put into renovating the rooms the hotel could have at least made the bathrooms bigger. No one I know wants the sink in their lap while sitting on the toilet. Make some business propositions to some restaurants to build closer to you, having a taco bell/KFC across the street is not a very good option especially if you're vegetarian/vegan/kosker/gluten free.
