Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Friendly and helpful staff This hotel is ideally situated for visiting Tower Bridge area and the O2. The Emirates cable car and the Thames clippers are also easy to access. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and this makes for a great stay. Breakfast is tasty and the bar is well stocked. The DLR station (Royal Victoria) is just a two minute walk and the hotel staff can give useful advice regarding travelling into the City.Great place for a weekend city break. December 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another Great Stay at the Crowne Plaza Docklands Returning to my favourite London hotel I was greeted warmly by the staff behind the Front Desk and allocated one of the newly refurbished rooms which was extremely comfortable and spacious. Check in was very quick. The room was clean and bright, the heating was quiet and efficient, the bed extremely comfortable and the room service staff very responsive. The Spa facility is very good and the massages are to be recommended. Throughout my stay the level of customer service was of the usual very high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and the staff who work there. December 2, 2014

We were able to check in early with a very friendly reception staff. We even had a free room upgrade and a bowl of fruit in our room. The room was lovely with a nice view over the Dock to the O2. The breakfast in the mornings was very nice and filling with good service from the staff. the bar in the evening was pleasant with a ice atmosphere. I know we will be staying again when we come to London for a long weekend. November 29, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great service I booked 2 rooms at the crowne plaza for 5 people and was so pleased that our room had 2 double beds as our son is a tall 16 year old, in my parents room the staff had made a massive effort to leave special touchs as it was there anniversary. we booked a table in the restaurant the food was lovely and the staff was very friendly as was the lady that we meet when we went down for breakfast the next morning, we was made to feel very relaxed. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic!!! We stayed at the Crowne Plaza, Docklands last weekend and it was brilliant!! On enquiry about the restaurant opening time, prior to our london break. I had mentioned that we were on a mini moon, having recently married. We arrived at the hotal late and were greeted by a very helpful duty manager, who could not have been more welcoming. He booked us in and advised us that we had been upgraded from our double room, to a Junior Suite. I was over the moon. On entering the room, we were greeted by a bottle of Presseco chilling on the unit, towels on the bed made into swans with a fresh red rose and to top it off frsh rose petals scattered thorough the suite. The view from our room was fab, we looked over the river and at a fantastic city ouline with the O2 just infront. It is the view you see in the brouchers when booking a London break and we had it. I can only say fantastic things about this hotel. It truely was a brilliant experience and we will definitely be returning in the new year!!! It is perfectly placed for the Emirates cable cars and tube for visiting the 02 and also Central London. Rooms are comfortable with excellent facilities. The range of foods available at breakfast is excellent. We found all staff to be courteous, friendly and helpful. The bar area was very nice after a late night at the tennis. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year! November 20, 2014

However, this latest visit was a marked improvement on my last visit. The staff were welcoming, and made every effort to make my stay as good as possible. This is what I expect of such a high quality hotel chain, and would now consider returning to this hotel for none business purposes if I had the need to visit London in the future. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Average Intercon This hotel's team has a lot of attitude. Most of time you will hear a firm "no" for many things. When we checkin, we pre booked from previous night. First we were told rooms are not available as we didn't advise on our arrival times. After confronting the front desk team we were provided rooms. Duty manager was very defensive and kept on blaming us for not providing arrival details. Instead of suggesting what can be done, she just was adamant not to agree with us. Eventually when we asked for refund for the night we have paid, she had the audacity to say even that is not possible. Sometimes during their servicing, there can be inconsistency of missing amenities. Mattresses are too soft to sleep on. As a result gave me a back pain. Breakfast room is actually a faulty room. Tables don't have salt and pepper and you have to get from other table. Cutlery are never replaced. You can sit with dirty plates. There are so many servers and staff will pass by your table but never clear them or pay attention to. Gym has equipment with rust all over and some are hard to use. Treadmills have screws coming off. I asked for ironing of my suits and was told that there are no facilities available instead I must go to a neighbouring laundry who will happily do the same. In today's world any business hotel offers this service. TV channels are hard to access and have to go through layers of selection. This is definitely not an Intercon hotel which I am used to. Water pressure in shower is a dismal. Positive - Hotel is ideally located next to EXCEL with 5 minutes.Rooms are spacious with all relevant amenities. It has a nice writing desk. November 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Most helpful and friendly staff I have stayed at Crowne plaza twice before but at different location. Each time has been good but this was really exceptional. All of the staff, without exception were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I was very tired but started the day smiling because smiling is infectious. The Spa was great, the food delicious, if a little pricey (London is generally expensive) and the veg cooked to perfection. Breakfast buffet was varied and very good but it was the service which was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. I was not keen on the really dim and blue lights in the restaurant, but thats my age. Food was great. November 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent, affordable stay in a beautiful hotel We stayed here to attend a convention at Tobacco Docks over a weekend. The staff were incredibly friendly and willing to help. The facilities were great, the room itself was lovely - with all the amenities that you could need - we didn't try the spa but the bar, room service and breakfast were all five star. Whilst the distance for us to get to the convention wasn't far, when we went to Oxford Street for shopping it was probably half an hour on various tubes and trains. The train was a two minute walk around the corner from the hotel which was handy and the staff at the hotel were more than happy for us to leave our bags in their luggage room both before we checked in and after we checked out. I'd definitely recommend this hotel, and will return if we need to be in that area of London again. November 7, 2014
