Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First floor is a mess They were doing remodeling of the hotel. The first floor was a mess. I hope once they have the remodeling done it will be a nice hotel again. I was dissapointed that the room was not discounted due to the ongoing construction, which most hotels do when something like this is happening. August 14, 2014

It would have been nice to know that they were currently under construction as the entire main floor was torn apart. Hoping for a better experience, if there is a next time. August 11, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay THe hotel was being renovated during our stay so our experience was atypical of a normal stay. The hall carpet was stained with drywall and paint and the hall baseboards had been removed while being painted. The carpet was scheduled to be replaced the week after our stay. Staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast buffet was adequate for our needs. Our room faced onto University Ave and morning traffic was a little noisy but not too bad. July 26, 2014

Everyone was so friendly, which made our stay very pleasant and relaxing. The kids loved the breakfast plenty of choices fruit, yogurt, waffles. The pool, gym and laundrymat were all open 24 hours which was very convenient! July 10, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing return stay In the past we have stayed at this hotel many times and always found it above average. After a two year absence we reserved a room for two nights. The hotel seemed to feel and look tired and worn. The carpeting in the hallways was coming up from the floor and was rippling. The furniture in our room showed a lot of wear and use. The curtains were stained. We did notice that some renovations were being made and hope that the hotel returns to its prior level of service and quality. July 6, 2014
