Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service beautiful rooms The rooms are beautiful and the service was absolutely great. The only issue was that our air conditioner was not working but as soon as we called someone came right away to try and fix it and when he couldn't they upgraded our room at no charge immediately. I would definitely visit again! July 25, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Review of Staybridge I stay at this hotel most weeks. I really like the staff. They are very polite and professional and do their best to respond quickly to needs. I have a problem with people hanging outside on the side of the building smoking, blocking the entrances. I've reported this and they put a bench on one end of the building for people to use, but they need some no smoking signs or signs telling people not sit on the steps blocking the entrances. It stinks and is trashy, very ghetto looking. I see the same crowd there everyday smoking. I wish there was a better fitness center. July 24, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room was ok, not as clean as we had hoped for. After staying at a Staybridge Suite in Atlanta, we chose the Mt. Laurel Saybridge Suite for our stay in Philadelphia. We found this hotel to be dirty, noisy, disorganized. We attempted to eat at the breakfast buffet on our first morning, but with children running rampant, touching food, silverware etc, & no staff anywhere , we decided to eat elsewhere & did not return to breakfast buffet for the rest of our stay. Our room was somewhat clean, areas of concern were the headboards in bedroom ( 2 double beds), the rugs throughout. We requested housekeeping upon our arrival Friday evening ....did not happen...on Saturday night after returning from a baseball game, we had to call front desk to get towels for morning showers. Not happy overall, not worth the price...will not return to this site again. Our son had recently received a bone marrow transplant & we chose this pricey hotel with the hopes that it would be clean.Atlanta experience was perfect, Mt Laurel was terrible. July 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hidden Gem in Mt. Laurel! I was very fortunate to come across this hotel when looking for a place to stay for 2 weeks while our new house was being completed. I was very impressed with how much room we had in a 2 bedroom suite (2 adults, 2 kids) and how clean the place was. Not to mention the breakfast buffet each morning was outstanding. Location is around plenty of restaurants and a mall so had no problem finding a place to eat when getting tired of making food in the kitchenette. It's also easy to get on/off NJ Turnpike. Staff does a nice job in keeping the rooms straightened up while we were there. The sport court was nice for the kids although always seemed to be occupied by older kids on the weekends. We did not get to use the pool, but nice option to have. Having access to washer/dryer was nice feature too. If I had any recommendations for the hotel, maybe set up a designated smoking area. While not a smoker, too many times we'd trip over smokers sitting on the stoop in way of doors. Was not always easy to get by them in the rain. Other than that, glad we found this place and would book with a Staybridge Suites again in future travels. July 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and spacious This hotel was very clean and very spacious. I couldn't believe how much room we had in a two room suite....2 full bathrooms, 2 full bedrooms, and a separate living room with kitchen. It was more room than we needed. Also, the free laundry was the best bonus. And breakfast was great. Also, in a great area if you don't want to stay in yucky Philadelphia. June 10, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy rooms, nice hotel. We recently stayed at this Mt. Laurel NJ Staybridge Suites for a week as we needed a place to stay in between selling our house and buying a new one. Over all it was good. We were disappointed in the cleaning service and one of the mornings the person didn't show up to serve breakfast so we just had cereal, but we found out later that the server was sick. The front desk did apologize and did give us a credit for these issues. We had stayed at Staybridge in Cinn, OH and found it to be very good. We will continue to be a patron of Staybridge, as it is a good value and nice hotel. June 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sad circumstances for visit but safe haven at Staybridge My husband and two grown sons came into town on short notice for my dad's funeral so we were somewhat emotionally fragile during our stay. We rented a suite with two bedrooms and living room which was ideal for our purposes. The suite was wonderful, clean and well laid out. We had a little noise from the people across the hall well past the 8pm noise notices all over (it was around 11pm) but oh well, we were still awake anyway. In general, it was a good hotel environment for us and we slept in quiet circumstances, the water pressure in the showers was terrific, and it was a safe haven for us to go back to at the end of the days after all the family funeral chaos. Several items would have made it an even nicer stay. We don't drink coffee, only tea, and there was no good way to boil water for tea and make a pot of tea. The front desk had no tea kettle we could borrow when we asked and we made do with boiling water in a pot and borrowing a teapot from my brother who lived nearby so we could brew more than one cup at a time. If you try to make tea in the coffeepot supplied in hotel rooms, it always tastes like coffee. Everything was so high quality (sheets, pillows, towels) that it's a shame the tissues and toilet paper are so low quality. A few extra cents for that would be well worth it. (I know this seems petty but using multiple sheets of tissues because they disintegrate with use seems like a waste to me, better to have better quality tissues to begin with and so use less, same for the toilet paper). And for people who like to read in bed, it would be nice to have a brighter light by the bed that could be turned off without having to get out of bed and that had two lights, one on either side of the large king size bed so one person wouldn't keep the other awake. The new LED lights give off very little heat, use very little electricity, and direct the light in a very small area so other people nearby are not as bothered by it. Maybe these new lights will make their way into the Staybridge hotel lighting in the future. Also, there was no safe in the room, so we had to take all our valuables with us when we left which was somewhat problematical for us at the funeral home. Leaving stuff at the front desk wasn't an option since laptops won't fit into those little safety boxes they had at the front desk. That was surprising since so many places now have safes in the rooms. But we appreciated the free wifi available when we were back in the room with the laptops. On the other hand, it was nice to have the iron and ironing board in the room when we got dressed for the funeral. And after my family left with the rental car for the airport to go home earlier than I did, the driver of the hotel van took me to my brother's house nearby right away and was most considerate. Breakfast was unremarkable. It would have been nice to have whole pieces of fresh fruit like bananas, apples, etc. as a choice in addition to the cut up pieces of melon available. The hard boiled eggs were much appreciated. So all in all, it was a good place to stay, we would recommend it to others and we would stay there again. I found the front desk help to be very helpful, more so than many places. They gave thoughtful answers to questions and really tried to solve our problems. May 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place in Mt. Laurel to stay! Stayed at a lot of hotels in the area...Staybridge is the best value for your money. Very quiet. Staff was super accommodating and friendly. Loved the feel of the room...just like a mini apartment. Location is great...lots of restaurants within a 1/4 mile. We will be staying here again in the future May 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and accomodating staff. The Staybridge Suites in Mount Laurel, NJ is my favorite place to stay when I commute for work every week. The reception staff is friendly and accomodating, they offer a free breakfast and light dinner that is wonderful, all in a comfortable setting. They will be renovating this fall, so that should take care of my only negative comment. The beds and pillows aren't very comfortable and the sheets have so many fuzz balls on them it feels like sleeping on sand. Not all, but it's hit and miss. Hopefully, the renovation will take care of that problem. May 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it Hotel was great, staff very friendly pool was heated would definitely stay again. Thank you! April 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely property, beautiful rooms, great amenities Beautiful hotel with a very friendly staff. Rooms were quite lovely, and beds were very comfortable. We had a third floor suite with a wonderful view of the beautiful courtyard. The basketball court was such a fun addition to all of the other amenities. Really very nice!!! April 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by roomy suite, liked the little "extras" We came as a family and had the two bedroom suite. It didn't feel crowded like some hotel rooms. I appreciated the free laundry machines. The breakfast was decent #not the very best but better than a lot that we've seen#. The hotel was updated and well cared for. I thought that they could have added a little more to the evening reception #chips, side dish# but it was better than not having it. My kids enjoyed the pool and basketball court. April 26, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great home away from home Working on a special project for my company, I have been working in the Mt. Laurel Area for over a year now. Staybridge was recommended to me by a co-worker and I have never experienced such a home like atmosphere as I do with Staybridge. If your stay is long term or short term, the staff always makes us feel welcome. They offer not only breakfast in the morning, and meals three nights a week, but having a full pot of coffee and a nice kitchen to cook in gives me options to eat an almost home cooked meal once in a while. Staybridge in Mt. Laurel is a true gem and I highly recommend it to all travelers. April 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome stay This hotel is wonderful!! We were in town for a dance competition and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The staff (especially Megan at the desk) was wonderful and went out of their way to help us. They even set up the breakfast buffet early for us on Saturday since the dancers had to leave very early in the morning to compete. The rooms are spacious, very comfy, and we loved all the unexpected extras in the room. The pool was very nice and unlike other hotels I've been too, there was always a supply of pool towels available. The rate couldn't be beat and we got more for our money at this hotel than any that I've stayed at for twice the price. Highly recommended!! April 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AMAZING - What more can I say? You wouldn't believe how amazing this place is on every level. I was totally satisfied with everything at this hotel. You will want for nothing and will be made to feel right at home. April 2, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad,bad service... I stayed at the hotel with my husband and daughter. The room had a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Around 11 pm my husband was already sleeping and my daughter and I arrived to the room.We tried to open the sofa an it was broken. I went to front desk and the answer was :The only thing I can offer you is to move you to another room.I told her that my husband was already sleeping and maybe she had somebody to check on the sofa. Her answer was unfortunately I have nobody to do that and my offer is to move you to another room.No apologies, bad attitude.I asked to speak with the manager and she say the he was at home until Monday(it was Saturday) I went back to the room.We tried to sleep at the same bed,but in the middle of the night,I moved to the floor(the sleeper sofa was to small and short when close) End of story,no refunds and I paid a room to sleep on the floor. :( April 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great home away from home First, it was by accident we found the Staybridge hotel. I was actually booking our one day stay at a place my family and I often visited. However, googling nearby hotels and behold...a fascinating example of home away from home. The hotel was clean, rooms were like a picturesque movie scene with free breakfast, evening specials for dining and I could not forget the warm watered pool. We had a blast there and will return soon. God bless google. :) March 27, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Place to Stay This location is a GREAT place to stay. The hotel was clean and there were many places to eat and shop within minutes. Plus, I liked not dealing with the hassle of staying in the City of Philadelphia. The only thing that needs improving is the morning breakfast. To be honest, not very good. The quality of food is way below average. Overall though, I would recommend. February 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific staff Very clean and comfortable rooms with amenities that make a longer stay much more enjoyable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home away from Home We thoroughly enjoyed our New Year's eve stay at your hotel. We loved the home-like atmosphere and the fireplaces in the lobby were so cozy. Our mini kitchen was just big up enough to heat up our leftovers from the restaurants nearby. We will be back. Happy New Year!! January 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay! Everything was great! The room was the perfect size & it was super clean and quiet. I had a very compfortable night's sleep and will definitely stay at Staybridge Suites again. Breakfast the next morning was tasty and the staff was very friendly. January 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value We found this place to bea great value. Rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast was hot and plentiful with many choices. Staff was cordil and helpful . December 15, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stay away from room 240 and weekends. Room 240 is half conference room and half laundry room. The room is spacious with a huge round table in the middle of it and not at all "home like". The bedroom area is right above the industrial dryers that run all night long. The near by roadways also add to the noise due to the room being on the end of the building. The bedroom space is small and the bed is as hard as the pavement outside. The bathroom area is also very small. This room should be used as intended not as a guest room. Hotel is nice when not staying in this room. The party starts on Friday nights with kids running the halls and parents in the lounge area drinking and not paying any attention to their kids. Business and working people need to be prepared for lots of noise and little sleep if staying the weekend. Staff should limit the number of people in each room and keep the kids and short term guests away from the longer staying guests. 3 floors and it can be chaos on the weekends. Stairways loaded with kids playing and screaming, pounding on doors without a care in the world. November 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by superb customer service The staff at the Staybridge are always very customer focused, and they do whatever is needed to take care of me each week. November 13, 2012
