Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by The 4 O's Bed and pillows were comfortable. This hotel was close to the concert venue, so it was convenient in that manner. Also, I liked that it was pet friendly, however, $40?! Wow! Most hotels are $20 per pet! The rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL! The toilets are practically touching the bathroom counter! Glad it was close to the venue we were going to- but, this hotel is way OVER PRICED!!!! We won't be staying there again! June 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Everett, WA The property is close (2-3 blocks) to the highway (I-5), yet highway noise is minimal on the property. The room was comfortable with common amenities, desk, chairs, refrigerator and Kreuig coffee maker. Parking area is well lit, yet the smoking area is too close to handicap parking. Finally a matter that really stood-out was the service those with hotel provided meal vouchers (ticket) receive Vs the service those who pay for their meals at the restaurant. Those who use a hotel provided ticket receive less service, let's call it attention Vs those who are paying for their meal. Although this should not be the case, it is obvious the supervisor running the meal servers' in the restaurant fails to understand that in order to qualify for a hotel provided ticket you are paying for a room! It is for this reason I would NOT recommend staying there nor would I stay there again, if the voucher system is still active. June 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay in Everett I have used this hotel many times in the past, before the conversion to HI and after. It has matured into an excellent hotel with well trained staff and excellent facilities. June 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by clean and comfortable Everything great but don't get a room by the elevator June 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Place This hotel is a nice place to spend a few days. We have stayed here before. Try to get an odd numbered room, all the even numbered rooms face the I-5 freeway and it can get noisy in your room. We would prefer a free breakfast at the price we paid but we were offered to purchase breakfast with our room for $17 additional. I am not sure if that was each or per room. We have used the pool in the past and it was nice as was the jacuzzi. We will probably stay here again. June 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Front desk Front desk made life difficult for entire family. As a hotel you will be faced with travelers in need of sudden overnight accommodations. There is no reason to torture people for just because 'you can'. June 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, friendly, priced right. We stayed three days at this Holiday Inn in Everett while we were visiting Coast Guard son and family. They really enjoyed coming over to the Hotel for meals and pool with kiddos. Very nice room, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Room could use a few more electrical outlets and lamps but otherwise AWESOME. Great sleeping accommodations. We highly recommend this Hotel. June 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by weekend away This hotel was fun for the kids. It is clean, updated and comfortable to stay in. The pool, hot tub and the gym was enjoyed by all. The only thing that was missing was the complimentary breakfast, which my children always enjoy when we stay at different hotels. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was a very busy hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room This is my second time to the hotel. Quiet, clean and spacious room. The internet speed really fast and King size bed very comfortable. I would like to come here again. May 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, spacious rooms, comfortable beds This family is a "frequent stayer" at the Pine Street, Holiday Inn. We simply love this establishment and recommend it to our family and friends. May 23, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok hotel, not memorable The hotel is not great or bad, just ok. The lady that checked us in played the one up game, as in your weather on your trip was nice , but mine was better. May 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service. WIFE AND DAUGHTER HAD A WONDERFUL STAY in your holiday inn May 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Motorcycle trip from Houston Enjoyed the stay and slept very well as the beds are very comfortable. There were no cookies at night and the breakfast area where the food was located was a bit cramped. Other than those minor comments our stay was very pleasing. May 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic staff and really nice room! Very nice room. Wonderful staff at front desk and restaurant. Location and ease to I5 is great! May 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely room, warm welcome at reception. We thoroughly enjoy staying at your establishment in Everett. We are repeat customers and stay nearly every month. The crew on the front desk are wonderful, we get a warm welcome, it's like visiting with your family. Also, the crew in the dining room can't do enough to make your meal enjoyable. Keep up the good work. April 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very good property We have stayed here a number of times over the years and so glad it is back to its former stature, and has been for a while too. Check in was a breeze and instant acknowledge of being a Platinum member. The rooms are a nice size with comfortable bed and pillows, wifi worked well too. It appeared there was a wedding reception that evening but the hotel was nice and quiet. I booked their breakfast included package and it was well worth it with a choice of 3 options including beverage. We also were there for dinner, the menu is limited but the food and service was very good (terrific waitress evening of April 19.) Easy access of the freeway, if you know where you are going, just follow their map. We did not use the indoor pool, although it did look inviting. It was nice to have the underground gated parking, not many people were using it. April 24, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ROOM SMELLED OF SMOKING WE BOOKED A NON SMOKING ROOM BUT THE ROOM SMELLED OF SMOKE. WE ASKED THE HOLIDAY INN ONLINE REP THAT THE KIDS EAT FREE HE SAID ALWAYS . MORNING TIME WHEN WE WENT FOR BREAKFAST THE LADY GAVE US TWO COUPONS AND NOTHING FOR OUR SON WE EXPLAINED TO HER WHAT THE REP SAID SHE REPLIED THAT THE ROOM RATE WE WERE PAYING DOES NOT COME WITH THE KIDS BREAKFAST BUT SHE GAVE US THE COUPON, KIDS BREAKFAST WHAT A JOKE ONE EGG AND ONE STRIP OF BACON NO TOAST. WE STAYED BEFORE THERE WE DIDNT HAVE A PROBLEM. IF YOU ARE GOING THERE WITH KIDS MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE KIDS EAT FREE STATEMENT GIVEN BY THE HOLIDAY INN ONLINE SALES REP April 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This one stay was a nightmare. I have stayed for many days after surgery at this hotel. It was perfect. This time was not. Some of it could have been avoided. The hotel was full (convention). Noisy partying after hours. That only one elevator worked meant many people in the hall talking and yelling up the hall to see if the elevator had come. After only a few hours sleep the noise started again with doors (many - most likely every door on the floor) was slamming. And again much noise at the elevator with long waits and upset people. When it finally quieted down here come the housekeepers. Of course after trying to get into my room (yes I had the DO NOT DISTURB SIGN ON THE DOOR) they decided to clean the 2 rooms either side of me. I swear the walls are made cardboard. You can hear everything. So for this stay, I had little sleep and less rest. This was the reason I had come to the hotel; for sleep and rest. April 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Having stayed at this location previously we were not disappointed. The underground parking is a plus for this time of year. In house restaurant was good. April 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of coffee was an issue. I was pretty disappointed that you didn't offer complimentary coffee in the lobby (in the morning) at the Everett, WA Holiday Inn on Pine Street. You can get a cup of coffee in the lobby at 5 o'clock in the afternoon though. I am not sure if breakfast was part of the room package or not. They certainly did not let us know about it if that was the case. I believe that it was part of the package several years ago when we stayed there. The FINAL STRAW was Monday morning 3/31 at 7:55 a.m. --- we were checking out, on our way to the airport in our rented car and I stopped at the coffee bar to buy a cup of coffee to go. No barista to be seen. The waitresses in the cafe didn't even acknowledge my presence with "hey, I'll find somebody to help you." No eye contact. Nothing. I gave it about 2 minutes and shrugged my shoulders and left. I guess they didn't want my $3.50. The room was excellent though. April 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great, affordable place to stay We recently stayed here for a pageant weekend, and I was very impressed with our entire hotel experience. First, I felt it was very clean, professional, comfortable, and absolutely worth the money. The staff was very accommodating, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the entire bedding choices (firm or soft pillows labeled) made our sleep wonderful. I would definitely stay here again! April 2, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 noisy and worst breakfast Worst sleep I have ever had. We had a room next to the freeway side of the hotel. They couldn't switch our rooms to the parking lot side and didn't apologize for the inconvenience! There were people partying in the room next to us and also kept us up all night! The breakfast was way down the banquet hall with no signs and the food was horrible. We decided to go to starbucks instead. I feel like I should get a credit or my money back! Worst stay in a hotel ever! March 25, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad management They screwed up my reservation over the phone, over E-mail, and three times while we were staying there. We wanted two rooms right next to each other and it seemed like an impossible task. The fire alarm testing was loud and obnoxious and lasted for hours. We were charged for a movie we didn't buy, which was the only thing they were able to fix in a timely fashion. We paid too much for the room to not have it include breakfast and with all the other problems, it just wasn't worth the price. We won't be staying here again any time soon. February 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Visit Business trip. Spent most of the time working in our room. Comfortable and nice layout. Friends who were staying at another hotel were so upset when they saw our room. They paid $55 more a night and their room was not as big or as welcoming. Had vouchers for breakfast and was VERY happy we did as the breakfast in the hotel dining room was horrid. Neither one of us finished our breakfast as it was so bad. The breakfast was the ONLY disappointing feature. Hotel and staff were top notch!! February 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It was fine I stayed at this property for the first time while on a business trip in the area. Nice lobby, staff at the front desk were polite and helpful during check-in. I also appreciated the gentleman at the front desk agreeing to a late check-out (1 pm) the next day. The room looked nice upon entering. Bed was semi-comfortable, although I wished I had brought my own pillow. I was pretty disappointed with the bathtub, however! This may be the shallowest bath tub I have ever experienced in a hotel room. Even when filled very high, my legs were almost completely out of the water. The water then slowly drained out, and I'd say most of the time my entire body was completely out of the water while I was sitting in the tub. I think the maximum water level was maybe 6-7 inches. Not a very pleasant bathing experience. I had lunch in the restaurant the following day, and while the service was good and very attentive, the food was disappointing. I ordered the French Onion soup; the beef broth itself was so dark brown, and so extremely salty, it seemed like the kitchen had taken a very dark au jus sauce, threw in some onions, added a crostini with a slice of gruyere on top, and called it French Onion Soup. When I asked for some bread to try and soak up some of this very strong "soup", I was told they do not have any bread, only crostini toast. Oh well...... the house salad was edible, but the cucumber slice was questionable as far as freshness. I'm not a big fan of "spring mix" greens, so I should have ordered the Caesar instead. If I come back a second time, I know what NOT to order! Overall, it was an okay stay. As a Priority Club Platinum Member, I'm willing to stay at this property again to give it another try. I'll plan on taking a shower rather than a bath, though. February 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stayed 3 nights Got a large and very quite room on non-freeway side of hotel. Great sevice from staff. Did not try hotel eating place or pool. Not too many eating places nearby. Overall--a good experience. February 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Very pleased with our experience We were very pleased with our experience visiting the Everett Holiday Inn. The room was clean and fresh, recently updated, and we felt very comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. The entire facility was very nice, although we were only there for one overnight stay and did not use many of the amenities. We were traveling from out of town and the location was perfect, right off of the freeway and very near our destination in old town Everett. We'd definitely come back, and will remember this place for next time. February 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WSCA clinic attendee The hotel was an excellent venue for the wsca. I have been a member of the wsca for 30 years and enjoy attending the clinic in Everett. I brought my wife up also and she enjoyed the hotels offerings. She was also able to shop in Everett and drive shortly to the Tulalip outlets. The coaches of year dinner and hall of fame dinner was excellent. My compliments to the director of the dinners. He looked stressed during the night as my wife said, but she told him don't worry, just keep the food coming and it was good. The setup is great for wsca coaches. January 29, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Service and cusotmer service The staff here is always courteous, friendly and professional. I always look forward to staying here. The HOUSE KEEPING Staff on the 7th floor during my stay were excellent and provide me with everything I needed, great service and people. The front desk staff are super customer service. Great team here at the hotel. January 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by An Inviting Hotel for All Occasions! We stayed at this hotel on Christmas night after spending the day with our family. The hotel is very attractive in it's decor & design. The hotel staff very friendly & professional. Our room was nice, cozy & welcoming with the lights on & the heat set at a comfortable temp when we entered. It was quiet for sleeping although that could be because it was a holiday. Even so, we enjoyed the quiet room & very comfortable bed. We've stayed here before when visiting family & return because we are confident in receiving good accomodations. A plus to this hotel is the secure undergound parking garage. We had a nice breakfast in their dining room the next morning & as always, ejoyed our meal. January 2, 2014
