I am part of a group frequenting this hotel for business stays. The staff of this hotel have been very friendly and accommodating. They greet us by name and repeatedly ask if there is anything we need and if our rooms are satisfactory. Lilly is often the person in charge of breakfast and the dinner social, ready with a smile to pour a glass of wine or beer. They have made us feel very welcome as honored guests, not just paying customers.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by homeless but happy Made us feel at home!
My family and I have been staying at the hotel for 16 days, and will be staying for several more weeks until our house is ready. Living in a hotel is not the ideal situation when you are a family of 5 and expecting another. During our stay our daughter was born, and we brought her home to the hotel. We have been so amazed at the support of all the staff; even the maintenance man has stopped to talk to us and congratulate us on the baby. The management and staff have been remarkably accommodating, understanding the situation we are in and doing everything they can to make our stay as pleasant as possible, and more importantly, making us feel at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Thank you Staybridge Suites for making us feel welcome and comfortable.

This was my second stay at a Staybridge Suites location. This experience was even better than the first. I was beyond expressed at the suite layout. I would definetly repeat if I ever visit the area.

We really enjoy our stay and the overall hotel experience at StayBridge in Newark Delaware.
I traveled to Delaware with my fiancé just as a small get away. I am originally from the South so after finding out there was a Staybridge in Newark Delaware I was excited to see if this hotel would better the comfort of my traveling.
It was an extremely awesome experience from making my Reservation with Michael who was very informative and cheerful, to all the amenities they offer. The Hotel was VERY clean and organized. I was surprised to learn they offer a Full Buffet breakfast, Free WIFI access, 24hour Pantry, and although I did not use the Washing/Work out Facility it was also Free. Staybridge has Free on Property Parking! At Check-in I arrived early, which was not a issue for the Staff who informed me that I was early for check-in but I was Still allowed to get my key and enter my room, I was Greeted very Warmly by staff and was treated like I was family. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends/coworker and relatives because I want them to share this experience, no Better place to while traveling away from family then to Staybridge Suites In Newark Del where you feel right at home!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Travelnurse13 Comfortable, homestyle lodging.
I have stayed at this location several times, and feel very comfortable just sitting in the great room reading the paper. Really enjoyed the kitchen amenities in the room, esp having burners to actually cook during my longer stays. The staff is friendly on a more personal level than most facilities. It is more like like a friend's home rather than a hotel. Love the free laundry facilities and the social evenings (esp with Jorge manning the grill.) One of the cons is the office chair in the suites- it is too low for the desk/table it is paired with, and it took me 3 days of asking to get a plain chair that was higher.

We enjoyed a relaxed stay and appreciated the prompt attention and friendly smiles from staff. Our suite was clean and roomy. We made use of the comfy couches and television in the quiet, cozy common area.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by UDel Great location and free laundry
The location is very easy to get to from Rt 95. We were in town for Family weekend at the Univ of Delaware. The Staybridge Suites is very comfortable, clean and BEST of all...they have free laundry! We spent the late hours doing our son's laundry! The included hot breakfast is also very good.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit on the first floor for one week in September of this year. The room had more than ample space and amenities and was very clean. Breakfast each day was very good and I was pleased with the service as well. Four nights during the week we were treated to a simple dinner buffet along with beer, wine and soft drinks. It was sufficient to save us the added expense of going out to dinner which was greatly appreciated. The lobby and dining area are clean and bright and furnished very nicely. The front desk staff were very accommodating at all times. Overall I would say it was one of the most pleasant hotels where I have stayed in quite some time.
I would recommend it highly.

I was asked to please step away from the front desk while I was trying to fill out my envelope to be mailed. This was because another employee was on a personal phone call. I was at this location 2 times recently one for over 30 days and one for 22 days. This location then tried to raise my rate by 50.00 a night the 3rd time I was going to make a reservation. I then cancelled the reservation with the clerk at the front desk. To my surprise the date I was gonna arrive on with that reservation past by. I then saw a charge on my credit card. Called to straighten it out got the refund and apology. Then two days later there is another charge on my card. I would not recommend staying at this location. I am a platinum elite member. I now stay at a different hotel chain. Where I am treated like a paying guest.

The staff was very helpful and good humored. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast and dinners were also good and all of my co-workers enjoyed our stay. Lastly my bed was great. I slept very well and was ready for the next day. If I ever get to this part of the country again, I'll certainly stay at your motel/hotel.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BusinessTravelerRich As long as you dont talk to managment you are fine.
The managment at this hotel is the worst!!! You get better service at other brand hotels!!! Managment does not have the guest in mind. They do not treat you like a guest, instead treat you as a number. I have stayed at this hotel and I didnt have any issues before, however this time when i had to speak to managment. The managment was rude and cockey. They should not be in the hospitality industry. You probably would get better service at an hourly hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Betsy777 Pleasant room at a reasonable price
We stayed at Staybridge Suites for one night on our way home from a vacation in North Carolina. The room was a suite with a king bed and a sleeper sofa. It included a range top in addition to refrigerator, microwave and sink. Everything was clean and in good repair. The price with AAA membership was reasonable for a weekend night near a large city. The complementary breakfast was excellent.

The staff were go-out-of-their-way nice especially Michael and Theresa. The free meals were good and the hotel is clean and nice. Free laundry machines and internet/business center was an unexpected bonus. I was there 2 weeks and I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel took me in when I was having a very difficult time. The hotel my company had put me at prior to this was filthy, and my patience and sanity were taxed. The staff helped me out in every way, made sure I was settled comfortably, and always checked up on me. The facility was very clean and service was top notch. The rest of my long stay in Delaware was quite pleasant thanks to this hotel and their staff. My one and only complaint for someone staying long term, such as myself, is that there are not enough washers and dryers, but the ones they do have are brand new.

This was our first stay at this hotel. I was promptly greeted by Ron and made to feel special as a priority reward member. The lounge area was warm and inviting with the fireplace going. Our room was spacious with every amenity you could want or need...ex full kitchen, dvd player and even a pkg of popcorn.Cheri was attentive and helpful with any request we had. We had a great time during our visit and that was due mainly to being able to relax in the hotel room when we got back.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MsMayv Great location off I-95 and stay for a business trip
Good stay for a business trip, I was there for 2 nights this month while in Newark, DE on business. Arrived late and desk clerk was great, he was new and admitted he wasn't sure he was remembering everything (he only forgot my priority club snack), the next day the desk cleck provided it to me. The room was clean, although they forgot to tidy up the next day. Thank goodness I'm not a messy person even though I did leave the dirty towels on the floor, only to return to find them still there and the bed not made. When I brought it to the attention of Michael at the front desk he apologized and provided courtsey Holiday Inn points. My room was a king suite with an area to sit and watch TV. The breakfast was fantastic, many choices, fresh cooked eggs, fruit and cereal. Hotel is convenient to many restaurants in driving distance. If I am in the area again, I will definitely stay there again, love the comforts of home away from home.
