Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location but inconsistent services I've stayed at this location a handful of times now and perhaps the luster of a two year old hotel is losing it's shine. I like the room interiors and darker woods, nice counter tops, decor etc.... and the staff has always been friendly. Some of the female staff / managers are almost too friendly and it comes off as fake. They're so quick to jump to the next person, their feigned interest in the person they just asked a question of is very noticeable. I try not to interact with them because of this, If I wanted fake sincerity I'd go to a strip club. Our room cleanliness wasn't up to standards. There was a t-shirt stuffed between the couch cushions, a dead fly in the bed (god knows how long that had been there) and some old playing cards within plain sight under the couch also. This was the first time anything like this had happened and it started to worry me what I had missed on my last visits. My other big issue is with the gradual decline of breakfast as the week goes one. Middle of the week it's silverware and dishes, coffee mugs and glasses. By Saturday it's paper plates, cheap plastic silverware that won't puncture a melon and styrofoam. It shouldn't matter that the weekend is busier or more families - everyone should get the same level of service regardless what day of the week they stay. The food quality drops too and so does the staff level. The overly fake friendly folks of mid-week are gone and the skeleton crew trudges through a warmed over breakfast. I'm not sure I would stay here again unless I knew they made changes to how they run things and the level of service remains consistent. December 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded expectations! This property had a resort-like feel to it. It was next to a new LA Fitness Health Club and some nice restaurants. The lobby and guest areas were very open. There was a good-sized fitness center and indoor pool. The bedroom suite was large and bedroom had its own working desk and office chair. The only disappointment was the breakfast which was not of the quality of the rest of the property. We will look forward to staying here on our next visit! November 26, 2014
