Upon arrival and check-in, the type of room we selected was not going to work. The staff found us a room that would work and a very reasonable additional charge. We really enjoyed the alternative room and felt that it was a great value. We were well taken care of by the staff - Richard

We flew into PDX at midnight and called for the shuttle and hunkered down for a long wait. To our great appreciation the wait wasn't long and, for the time of night, the driver was wonderfully friendly. Check-in went extremely smoothly and again the staff was friendly. A few hours later we went down for the breakfast, and again we were pleasantly surprised. There was variety for the different tastes in our group and the food was fresh and tasted great (love those waffles). Getting in as late and leaving as early as we did, we didn't have a chance to partake in the "social" events offered, maybe next time.

Wonderful location! Considering it is close to the airport, we never heard the planes. The suites were very well planned and the beds and pillows were perfect. All of the staff, the front desk, the breakfast crew, and housekeeping, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Loves all of their smiles! When we return to Portland, we will see you again and that is a promise! Great value, too.

Very pleasant check-in. The room smelled fresh and gave the feeling of absolute cleanliness. Our stay was restful, quiet and very pleasant. The only fault was the newspaper was not delivered but had to be picked up at the front counter.

The room was great. The food was good. the whole experience was great. The staff, however, went above and beyond anything I would have ever expected. If i return there and if I am in Portland again, I will, it will be because of the staff. There are nice places to stay everywhere, but very few have as nice a staff as did the Staybridge Suites. Thanks for a great experience,

Reserved on-line for Park/Stay/Fly package at a good price.
Check-in was fast and easy with very helpful & friendly staff. Room was very nicely designed and fully equipped for more than a one-night stay. It would be very comfortable for a week or more.
HVAC was quiet - a big plus. The second-floor corridor was quite warm and the south-facing room took awhile to cool down after a warm, sunny day. That could be an issue on hot Summer days. North-facing rooms might be cooler.
Firm, comfortable bed and good breakfast selections.
Airport shuttle was prompt with friendly drivers both ways..

I have never stayed at this hotel chain before. I was surprised at the quality, and amenities provided. As a business traveler it was nice to have a home setting, and social hour. Free breakfast each day was nice on my expense account as well as Free dinner 3 times a week. This will be my new hotel of choice each time I travel. Also like the kitchens in the room. It has a Suite feel with an at home feeling.

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites Portland Airport after driving back from Spokane to Portland to visit daughter attending University of Portland. This location was conveniently located on the drive back into Portland, near enough to our daughter to visit in the evening, and extremely convenient to dropping my husband at the airport after visiting our daughter. The hotel is clean and welcoming. The kids loved the pool. The gym was nice, not fancy but good to work off some of the road trip to Spokane and back. The beds were comfortable, although a little cramped trying to get into the bathroom around one of the beds. The vanity could benefit from 2 sinks since we had 5 people trying to get ready all at once. The complimentary dinner and beverages (wine and beer too for the adults!) in the evening were a nice treat, nothing fancy ... but but good, and complimentary is always nice! The warm breakfast was good. Only complaint would be is that coffee was really bad. We will definitely stay here again. The hotel has a safe and welcoming feel to it. The conenient location for our needs and the price definitely beat any of the downtown hotels.
