We spent two nights here in a 1 bedroom, and it was terrific. The rooms were very well layed out and had everything we needed. You can hear noise from other rooms easily when in the hallway, but inside our room was nice and quiet. Very friendly and welcoming staff, good breakfast, and nice pool and workout areas. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here (3 nights) and will definitely be back. Nice, helpful staff, loved the pool and hot tub, and breakfast was very nice, too, with slight menu variatioons all three days, which I really appreciate. We missed the T-Th evening social hour, so I can't comment, but I heard these are great, too. The rooms were quiet and dark with comfortably firm beds. Nice place.

this is the second time we have stayed here. The suite was huge (2 bedrooms) and plenty of room for our 2 small kids..... when we travel we will always look for a staybridge !!!!!

This was a very convinient hotel to the airport as well as a nicely appointed room. You can hear the planes as the takeoff and land just like in most airport hotels. The breakfast bar had a nice spread. Check in was fast, but I arrived late and left early each morning.

After my stay at the Staybridge in Vancouver, I was so impressed that I decided to stay there again. Unfortunately, they did not have a room available for my stay. So, I booked the Portland Airport location as an alternative.
Understanding upfront that this was an Airport location and that it was high use, I decided to try it anyway.
The stay overall was average.
The good:
> Room - Was comfortable, Clean and fairly quiet.
> Front desk staff - Friendly and welcoming
The Bad:
> The Smell...Wow...Something between Wet carpet and Mildew, covered by deodorizer. It was NOT very appealing
> The overall condition of the common areas. Carpet on my floor was VERY stained and dirty. Especially on the thresholds of each room. Dents dings and scrapes on walls that had not been attended to. etc etc etc
> And the Ugly:
The Breakfast Buffet - Arrived at 8:45 am. The advertised closing was 9:30 am.
Most of the Non-packaged items were gone.
ALL of the tables in the Breakfast area were dirty and had left over items on them.
The gal who was working the buffet line was OBVIOUSLY not happy to be there. And only appeared, after being told that all of the coffee was gone. She then made a beeline back to her cubbyhole and was only seen one more time in my 20 minutes at the buffet. The tables were never cleaned or even attended to. The items were not restocked and it just was obvious that this was not her favorite job.
Overall, when compared to your Vancouver location, it was like Night and day. If staying in the Portland area again, I certainly would NOT choose this location.

Excellent Stay at the Staybridge Suite, room and facilities are very good and the the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Have recommended this hotel to others and work forward to a return visit shortly
