The Staybridge in Jackson, MS ia a great property and I'd highly recommend it to any who stay there. The breakfast is good and the staff is very attentive! I'm a return customer and I'll be returning again soon...only reason a 4 and not a 5, I want the staff to continue to work to keep their standards and ethos high!

This hotel is close to the highway, restaurants, gas station and is located in a safe environment. Staff was very friendly and my room was clean. My room size was slightly larger than expected which was a plus. Room furnishings were up to date and the kitchen and refrigerator were clean. The AC unit DID NOT have the moldy smell that you typically find in high heat/humididy cities which is a major plus for folks (like myself) with allergies. My room was cleaned daily which was a pleasant surprise since I left at different times of the day.
The hotel has a small exercise room with new treadmills and a flat screen television. The exercise room was clean, the equipment was operational and the room DID NOT have "gym odor".
I recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again during my next trip to Jackson, MS.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ET NAC 2014 Great breakfast and evening meal
We had a great experience at the Staybridge Suites, Jackson, Mississippi. We will certainly stay here again if the opportunity arises. We booked the two bed room suite. It was very clean and spacious. There were three tvs, two nice size closets, two bathtubs, two bathroom vanity sinks, large size refrigerator, microwave oven, stove top burner, kitchen sink, dish washer, dishes, dinning table area, sofa sleeper, king size bed, queen size bed all in three separate rooms with close off doors. We were on the first floor near the breakfast and evening meal area. The breakfast and the evening meals were of a variety and tasted delicious. The staff was very helpful and kind. They kept a pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. We did not hear noise from the other rooms. The rooms were insulated very well. This made falling to sleep easy. House keeping came late in the day as we requested. They did not disturb us at all. We loved our stay. We recommend this hotel highly.

Booked king suite online, great price. After check-in, went to room and found two double beds. went back to front desk. Clerk tells me theres a note on the reservation which states there were no king rooms available, but she didn't tell me that prior to checking me in. Then she called the manager on the phone. He tells her the room is the same size. (????) The bed size was the issue. Then I was told the double was the best they could do. Next morning husband and I went to eat breakfast. All the tables were filthy. We had to wipe the tables down ourselves prior to eating. Decided to change my nine-night stay to a one-night stay. When I went to check out, I was charged a higher rate!! It wasn't my fault they did not have the right room available! However the manager did correct the overcharge.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Angushud Wedding weekend, perfect for our large group
We booked 4 of the 2 bedroom suites for our wedding weekend on Memorial Day. The 2 bedroom suite has everything you could want for a homelike atmosphere-privacy, great kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and comfortable beds at a very low weekend rate. We ran into some problems due to air conditioning breakdowns and 2 of the rooms had to be changed to 2 separate one bedroom suites for each reservation. Although this was not ideal, the staff worked with us to the best of their abilities to get the rooms as close together as possible. We did a lot of swapping families in and out of the 2 BR and the staff was very helpful in changing out sheets and extra cleaning of the rooms. Every single employee I met was smiling and cheerful, even though they were fully booked and facing challenges. I noticed so many extra conveniences at this location-dish washing supplies provided, towels available for the pool, pavilion and grill in the spacious courtyard, and even a chair lift at the pool. Breakfasts were well above the ordinary with a selection of teas, healthy choices, and tasty hot foods. Everything was well above my expectations and my experience at other hotels. I will definitely try Staybridge at other locations and hope that the staff there can meet the standards of the Ridgeland location.

As the hotel of choice it was suggested that the family attending the wedding/reception reserve at the Staybridge Ridgewood road. Several rooms were booked. We had a lovely stay at your Jackson, MS location. The staff was exceptional from the front desk welcome and farewell to housekeeping and the ladies in the kitchen accommodating our whole family. The food was amazing! The rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially loved the two bedroom suite that allowed us to be close to each other yet separate :) Thank you again for a great time from start to finish. As a priority IHG member I knew what to expect but this hotel went beyond my expectations! We will definitely stay at Staybridge Jackson whenever we return to Mississippi. I really look forward to it!!
If you have two families - the two bedroom suite is very economical and everyone can be together but separate (if you want :) ) we really enjoyed this set up. Sleep time for the adults while kids watch cartoons or played games in the living room. We could sit at the kitchen table and plan for our day without going out of the room to find other family members. We absolutely loved it!!

Hotel was convenient to the location I needed to be in. Great rates.. Only problem, I left a very valuable SD Memory card there, when I called back the same evening, the desk clerk told me to call and leave a voicemail on manager's desk and if they found it, it will be mailed, Well, I NEVER GOT THE CALL!! I really NEEDED that. Had business info on it!!
Other than that, it was pretty good experience.

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites Jackson for a long weekend with a group of eight - four adults and four kids. We had two rooms - a 2BR and a 1BR.
- the rooms were really nice and spacious.
- everything was in good condition and working order
- despite the in-room signs saying that the "light" housekeeping wasn't performed on weekends, it was
- wi-fi worked great
- price. The rooms were very reasonable, especially for the size and amenities
- no matter what we did, the shower curtains #all three of them# couldn't be closed enough to prevent flooding the floors. We had to use towels to mop up messes every time.
- there were no boxes of tissues to be found in either room, which was troublesome for us getting over head colds.
- I called the front desk the day before we checked in to ensure there were DVD players in the rooms. I was told that every room had a DVD player. We had five TVs between the two rooms - not a single DVD player. The front desk was able to round one up for us though.
- their "pantry" is somewhat of a joke unless you're in the need for over-the counter meds or bottled water or diet coke. The freezer cooler that was probably supposed to stock frozen foods and snacks had a single pint of Haagen-Dazs coffee ice cream in it the entire time.
- breakfast. The first day the breakfast was horrendous - no plates, no silverware, and barely anything stocked. When I inquired, I was told two cooks has called off and two people were running both the front desk and breakfast. It was a really, really bad situation. For example, when they finally re-stocked biscuits, they were still half-frozen in the middle. The second day was better, but nothing great. The food quality was OK at best. The make-your-own waffle batter was so watered down the waffles barely had any flavor. On day 1 the fresh fruit option consisted of bowl with - count 'em - two oranges; on day 2, there was melon too. There was no orange juice whatsoever either day; on day 2, the only juice available was cranberry. One highlight was that they have a soda dispenser available during breakfast, which is good for us caffeine-dependent non-coffee drinkers.
Overall, we liked the Staybridge Suites but were really disappointed with breakfast. While I can understand being in a pickle #when the two cooks called off#, the hotel is still responsible for offering breakfast as advertised. From a CNN article in 2010 - " Seventy percent of U.S. leisure travelers consider getting a free breakfast included with the room rate as extremely or very influential in their selection of a hotel or resort, according to the Ypartnership/Harrison Group 2010 Portrait of American Travelers... Business travelers like it too: 63 percent of them say a free breakfast is extremely or very desirable when they choose a hotel or resort, according to the Ypartnership/Yankelovich Inc. 2009 National Business Traveler Monitor." I typically look for a hotel to offer a good breakfast when looking for a place to stay. The Staybridge Suites Jackson came up really short, which is why I'm not sure I'd stay here again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by maydel1211 Great Hotel!! LOVED IT!!
This is a great hotel, its been recently remodeled so everything is new, nice decorated, cozy, excellent staff, great breakfast. We stayed 2 nights for Thanksgiving, we loved the fact that it has its living room with sofa/bed, then it has the bedroom separate with its own private door, kitchen, frig, stove, dishwasher, eat in kitchen with bar. There was a downer that we found several hairs in the towels, bathroom floor, then there was no extra toilet paper....but all the great things about this hotel over ride the 2 small ones.
Like I said excellent hotel, price was very very affordable everything was great. We will stay here again!

This is a great hotel! The cleaning staff does a GREAT job. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are very nice for the price, and they offer hot complimentary breakfast! You can't beat this deal. If I ever come back to Jackson, MS, this will definitely be the place that I will stay....hands down. This location is also of convenience, it's located to Walmart, the mall, Target, hair stores, restaurants, etc.

This was my first time staying here and it will not be my last. This Staybridge came as a recommendation from a close friend. It was the best experience I've had in a long time. My room was very clean and inviting. The staff was on point with every need I had and then some. I would gladly recommend Staybridge to everyone I know. Its worth every penny. As it was my birthday the staff made me feel extra welcome. The breakfast in the mornings was delicious with a variety of food to choose from. I just can't express how my stay made me feel. Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!!!!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MzOctober Noisy Neighbors
Everything in the room was nice and clean, as was the hotel itself. The only issue was that I had very noisy neighbors! My first night, it sounded like the neighbors were bowling or moving furniture all night! When I called the front desk and informed them of the noise, they just told me that, the guest would be checking out in the morning and I would not have to hear it again that night, and they'd send some one up to ask the guest to keep it down. I should have pushed the issue, but I didnt. Imagine my surprise when, my guest and I sat down to enjoy a movie that we rented, we could barely hear it over the noise! I called the desk again and they said they couldnt move me and apologized. (The agent didnt seem sincere at all). At checkout, I informed them again and the agent dryly apologized and said that those guests were supposed to checkout, but did not. Needless to stay the hotel was comfy, but if you value a good nights rest, look elsewhere, the walls are thin!

I had the following problems at my visit: Air Conditioner cover was off the entire time and I had to move it out of the middle of the floor when I first checked in, Smoke Smell in the hallway to my room(I could elaborate more if mangement requested), Fruit Flies on breakfast fruit and the apple I got had been turned to where it looked good but When I got in my car on the way to work the apple was rotten, Big sign on the bed saying that they were NOT responsible for any stolen items in room???, Loud people running up and down the halls yelling 2 of my 4 nights stayed, Overall cleanliness of the breakfast/dinner are was lacking. You can say that I'm just griping but I have been staying in hotels for buisness for 2 years and I would NOT stay at this location again.

Large room. clean and well appointed. big flat-screen TV. AC controlled by degrees, not just "High" or "Low". Comfortable bed. Full kitchen with full sized refrigerator and personal ice maker. Real dishware and flatware, even wine glasses! soft towels, Great breakfast witrh normal eggs, yogurt, waffels, fruit, etc, but also rotated biscuits and gravy with pancakes, and bacon or sausage, great coffee all day long. Friendly staff often asked if we needed anything.
only suggestion = two suitcase stands. We had to use the coffee table and sofa for luggage, but there was plenty of drawer space to unpack.

My son and I were travelling to Ridgeland to watch my brother play in the ASA Championship at Freedom Ridge Park which is not too far from the hotel...maybe a 5 minute drive. Overall I had a great experience. There were only two things that stand out to me:
The first thing is that we arrived at 3:15pm after having driven from Tampa, Florda. The hotel's policy is that check-in does not start until 3:00pm. Both mine and my parent's rooms were not ready when we checked in. They were great at getting someone to our rooms to get them done since it was expected to be ready by that time. We were delayed getting into our rooms until about 3:45 - 4:00.
The second thing that stood out was that there were some rather loud teenage guests hanging out by the pool at 12:30am which woke up not only myself but also my 1 year old son. When I called down to the front desk they immediately dealt with the situation.
