The breakfast area was in a very clean and orderly, with everything laid out very nicely. I will stay here on my visits to the V.A. hospital and any other trips to Fayetteville. May 3, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendky & Accomadating We always stay at Holiday Inn Expresses because we have found that they are the best value for the price. On our most recent stay, my husband's arm was broken and he could not sleep lying down in a bed. They provided a room for us with a recliner so he could rest at night. They checked on us periodically to make sure the room was satisfactory & he was able to sleep in the recliner. The staff has always went out of their way to let us know how much they appreciate our staying at Holiday Inn Express. One disadvantage for us is that most do not have sugar free dry cereals or sugar free syrup. My husband is diabetic & cannot eat any of the cereal choices or the pancakes because there is no sugar free syrup. March 24, 2014

I believe that the hotel should have made arrangements to account for this situation. The breakfast area was completely full and out of most items during the peak times. After such a bad experience on SAT morning, we did not even attempt to participate in the SUN breakfast. We certainly will stay at this hotel on any return trips. March 19, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good place for the price For the price the accommodations were outstanding: comfortable bed, very spacious room, clean and serviceable bathroom, no noise from inside or outside, little kitchen with a door between it and the bedroom, good mirrors, comfortable sitting areas. I did not give it an "excellent" star because there was no place to put my large, unpacked suitcase but on the bed and, more important, the lighting was inadequate: the bulbs were not bright enough even to see clearly into my suitcase, much less to read by, and the switches on the lamps were difficult to turn on and off. The buffet breakfast food all seemed to have come out of packages, not very tasty -- some still in packages, of course. But it came with the price of the room, and so what can one expect. I was traveling alone, but there were many families staying there. The spacious rooms and the free full breakfast is undoubtedly a good deal for them. March 19, 2014

I was upgraded to a suite, which I was thankful for. However, most of the living room decor was dated. The real problem, however, was that only one outlet in the suite was operable, making it very difficult for three women to dress. February 26, 2014

I stayed at this hotel about 9 years ago, They have updated a few things, TV's beds, but overall this isn't the latest IHG Holiday Inn Express by any means. Good staff and clean rooms. Value for area was on target. I was given a really huge upgrade room upon arrival. Several of the rooms in this hotel are really large, if you have family staying with you and you need space- this likely has the best sized rooms of any Express property I've been in. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very stingy with their electrical outlets I will start with the good - - huge room, great beds, good ventilation, very quiet (even though room literally encompassed the elevator), exceptional breakfast hostess, bonus points as platinum recognition. And the not-so-good - - no power outlet within 12-15 feet of either bed, bed cover was soiled on arrival and not replaced, towels did not appear to be fresh, internet fair but not good. My room (512) had two king beds. The only power outlet on the wall behind them was unreachable, down low behind one of the beds. The alarm clock and wall-mounted lamp occupied that outlet. No extension cord was available from the front desk so using my cpap machine was not an option - - or plugging in my phone or tablet. I have rated the staff as average - - the wonderful breakfast attendant's sunny demeanor was unfortunately offset and dragged down by the front desk clerk's attitude. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend this property based on my experience here. February 23, 2014

Our 1st night we were surprised that there was no soap in the bathroom but upon mentioning it to the desk it was immediately taken care of! Everything was exactly as it should be on the second night! We were there because my husband was in the hospital nearby. The staff was great and I especially want to give thanks to the lady preparing the breakfast food. She was superb! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THE BEST this is the very very best hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed at quite a few. the beds were more than comfortable they were wonderful. both in size and the mattress was exactly what I needed after traveling. the beds I cannot say enough about. the most important aspect of the hotel besides the comfortability of the beds are the staff. they went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. I had been traveling on thanksgiving and I was sick so I stayed at the hotel. the staff will make or break a hotel for me and they were most accommodating... good job December 2, 2013
