    Very Disappointed

    I originally tried to book a hotel at a hotel next door but they were booked and recommended their sister company Stay bridge Suites. I was not looking for a suite due to the fact that I've never had a pleasant experience when I've stayed at one. The lobby is very clean and inviting, the staff is wonderful, and the breakfast buffet was great but the five star feeling stops in the elevator. The elevator has a delayed response considering the hotel doesn't have that many levels. The room smelled like wet carpet and mildew and was very outdated. The floor is not level directly in front of the nightstand and caused me to hit my shin when I stumbled. The chair in the corner of the room is worn and filthy. We laid a towel across it just to sit on it. The carpet has stains. The bathroom is missing a towel hook on the back of the door. I made the mistake of walking barefoot on the carpet after my shower and had several strands of someone else's hair stuck to it. I stood in the lobby one night waiting for someone to come to the front desk for assistance but went up to my room after waiting 20 minutes. I've since called and left a message for a manager to contact me but no one has. My family and I visit Savannah often but I will not stay here ever again.
