Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not great This was our second stay at this location and we expected it to be as wonderful as our first time about a year ago. However, the staff was not near as friendly as the first time. There was no where to park because we came in late and the lady who worked the night shift parked in the area in front of the door designated for guests checking in. I approached the front desk and was not greeted, I had to greet them. During the check in process, the lady rolled her eyes several times at us, and was very impatient with the fact that we had no idea about a "tax exemption" form she kept requesting from us. She snapped and raised her voice at us as if she was irritated because she thought we were trying to get away with not having to pay taxes on our hotel room. Once we made it clear we were not trying to get out of paying taxes and had no clue what she was talking about, she calmed down and finished the checking in process. However, snapped again because she asked for two forms of ID and our debit card and my husband was flustered from the tax exemption form ordeal and thought he had given her his debit card already when in fact, he had not. He had only given the two forms of ID. She then asked for the debit card again while gritting her teeth and waving her hand for the ID. Once we got to our room, it was not the room that we requested. My husband had to go back down and had to have a certain tone with the ladies, they changed their attitudes very quickly, and we got our original room that we requested. She redeemed herself with giving us the original room we requested however, I'm not sure I'll come back...If going to pay that kind of money I want to be greeted with a smile and shown some respect. I have no idea what was wrong with that lady, she obviously was not happy about something before we got there and totally took it out on us. I gave this review a three because of our previous experience, the amenities, llocation, and the quality of our room. December 15, 2014

The room was comfortable and very clean, the TV worked great, and little things were top notch in this hotel - the shower head and the hair dryer were great! Would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it to others. Also, perfect location in Savannah. December 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendliest Staff In Town When checking into the hotel, we were greeted by Tisha at the front desk, she explained breakfast hours and invited us to the "social" that evening. She gave us an excellent room and offered me either a snack or 500 points (I took the points) The room was adequate with 2 full size beds, a full kitchen, television, etc. The bathroom was adequate and had a really good shower. The night clerk "Margaret" was a hoot! Always there to greet us upon our return each evening. The breakfast bar was out of this world!! December 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms Need Renovating The hotel seems nice when you walk in, but the rooms need to be renovated. I'm not saying to make the rooms more modern, the hotel is in a historic district of town, but they need to match the renovations that were made to the common spaces. The bed was broken, the bathroom light was dim, electrical outlets are scarce and while on business it would have been nice to have a desk as a workspace instead of a high top kithcen counter. A lot of noise was heard from the common space outside my room, granted it was very close to the front desk, but nothing had been done to soundproof the door at all. Also, the front desk had an issue splitting the two rooms I booked so my associate and I would both receive the points for our stay. We had to call IHG twice to sort it out for them. The internet service was fine, the HVAC and appliances worked correctly and the breakfast was good. December 11, 2014
