My wife and I went to Savannah for our 40th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. The hotel was ideally located for and to the things that we wanted to do. The room was cozy, quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will go back to Savannah someday to see the things that we missed and we will stay here again.

Although the hotel was undergoing renovations, it was still a great visit. The location is great for walking all over the historic district. The staff were extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. The concierge helped find good restaurants and gave good recommendations. The room was large, very clean, and quiet even on the street side. The value was good for all of the amenities including the breakfast. We will return next year. Thanks so much.

My wife and I brought my parents and our dog here for Christmas. Stayed 3 nights. Hotel is in a perfect location. Our room had a full fridge, dishwasher, sink, range and microwave. There were 70 channels on TV. The staff were great. Always making sure we were satisfied. The double beds were a bit small, but having a kitchen made up for that. Laundry was free (pay for soap). Gym has treadmills with TV's.

I am pretty particular when it comes to hotels but I was absolutely and completely pleased with my stay. Though there was some minor construction going on, it did not hinder in my stay.
The room was fantastic. It was gorgeous and overlooked the water. There were lots of windows and the kitchenette was a pleasant addition. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very kind.
Best value for the area and service. Thanks for the great weekend.
Oh, the breakfast wasn't bad either!

The website showed a luxurious king suite but the room we ended up with at the Staybridge in Savannah GA was anything but. It was worn, small and very disappointing for the price. When we complained to management they said Oh the website doesn't necessarily show the rooms here! We are coming back to Savannah but will not be staying at the Staybridge.

Really enjoyed our stay in Savannah . Staybridge was a great location, can walk to everything. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Only drawback was the occasional barking dog. Definitely stay there again.!

We were more than pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. It was a value beyond what we had expected. People were very friendly and afternoon snacks were plenty. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This our second stay at Staybridge in Savannah, GA. The beds, like new linens and overall look and care of the facility is great. They had a power problem. The room went dark for a second and then we could not get back on the internet for a bit. My husband was working, so that was a problem. This has happened to him before. The parking in the back is terrible because there is no back entry to the building. I think you should work on this.
The room seemed a bit small for all that was in it.

We selected the Staybridge for it's location. Should have done more research. We were located on the 3rd floor with a view of the opposing hallway. Sleeping peacefully is not an option at this property as there is a motor running constantly and although we were located a few rooms away from the elevator, it clanged and banged all night long.
Each morning me were treated to cold scrambled eggs, cold yet burnt egg patties, cold sausage patties, cold sausage links, and cold overcooked bacon. The coffee supply was always out and I had to ask each day for coffee. The bananas were brown and overripe. Not the way I wanted to start my mornings. I settled for semi warm oatmeal and patiently waited to get a spoon.
Really not a place I would recommend if you plan on sleeping and having a Hot Breakfast, as advertised.

Enjoyed ourselves 3 years ago and so we came back again this year. Enjoyed the breakfast and the nightly social get together. Love the location. Staff was very pleasant. Celebrated my birthday in Savannah and very happy.

We found the STAYBRIDGE to be very clean, quiet & friendly.
The entire staff was the BEST ever! The continental breakfast was as great as I have ever had before. I would recommend to anyone, even animal lovers. The hotel and the city of Savannah have the utmost respect for animals. The city even has drinking fountains for the animals!

I had a wonderful experience at the Staybridge in Jacksonville on Touchton Rd had stayed there for 3 weeks.
So when we decided to go to Savannah and due to the experience I had in Jacksonville Staybridge was my top choices for a wonderful stay. We had a wonderful staff member check us in her name was Portia I thought okay this is going to be good she put us on the fourth floor over looking Bay Street another positive for Portia.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable however there must have been something wrong with the air conditioning due to it kept making weird noises the whole three nights we were there.
Now on day 1 we were excited to start our day and went down to breakfast which was a little disappointment with options.
That night we chose to experience the nightly get together. Food again not as good as Jacksonville but alright. My partner and I don't drink wine or beer and wanted a soda the soda machine went down as well as the ice portion of the machine. I thought that the staff would fix it and I waited the young man said the machine is broken and you can have orange juice if you want I stated I don't want juice I want soda and walked away. Now one positive thing was another hotel staff person did try to provide us with bottled soda however they were out of diet coke and never restocked our whole time there and for the rest of our stay the soda machine was out of order this was unacceptable.
It would have also been nice if they would have informed us to where the complimentary washer and dryers were we looked all over and could not find them. The house-keeping staff was nice enough however having to share the elevator the whole time with all staff with their equipment was not pleasant.
Location was nice though however it would have been nice if they had a hot tub to enjoy after walking all day.

When I checked in the lady at the desk welcomed me and with a canned response she said she was happy I was a Platinum member. The other lady behind her (housekeeping?) whispered low and said :no we're not" under her breath.
During my 2 day stay the key continually stopped working and I made repeated trips to the front desk to have re-keyed. On one occasion the re-key didn't work and I had to go back immediatley#I do not keep my key by my cell phone#.
When i checked out I went to the front desk #they did not deliver the bill to my room# and I was the only one there. The lady was on the phone at first, but when she got off she asked if she could help me. At the same time another man walked to the counter and she askwed me to wait while she waited on him. No reason given.
This hotel, as is becoeming the norm for IHG, does not recognize its Platinum members, but they took it a step further to be just plain rude.

The ice maker was broken in our room and there are no ice machines on any of the floors for customers. Also, we had to repeatedly ask for toilet paper as no extra rolls were left in the room. We also did not receive enough towels for four people and had to get more from the from desk the four days we were there. Also had a lot of trouble connecting to the Wifi.
Overall the staff is very nice and the location is great.

Our friends had told us about this hotel, we usually stay somewhere else in the city, however we decided we would venture out and try other places. We will not be doing that again, the staff was not very friendly. Seemed her meal was more important then taking care of us. We asked for extra towels and never received them. The TV was out most of our trip. I asked twice while leaving the hotel if they were going to send someone up to look at it. Yeah she replies. No never happened. Went for breakfast in the morning and no plates very little food left, still had 30 minutes left to serve and you either ate what was left in the bins or you had nothing. The places we usually stay that serve breakfast, if it says stops at 10, they continue to fill things until 10!
Very disappointed. The room with a view was a window that lead out into another hallway.

This property is smack in the middle of it all in Old Town Savannah. You can walk to most everywhere you would like to see near the river. The hotel is perfectly decorated with the historic district scenery. The room was very nice and accommidating. My only issue that I have with this property is the parking. I do understand that parking is limited, but to charge a fee AND the need to walk outdoors quite a ways (I am glad it was not raining) is extreme. If it were valet parking, it would be much more understandable. I would still highly recommend this location is visiting the area.

We traveled to the Savannah location for labor weekend with our dog who is very well behaved. The checking staff was ok. Not excellent but acceptable.
On the second day we encountered a very snippy wait person during breakfast. She stated that the dog was too close to the hot line. That is acceptable - we understand the need for rules. The method of how this was communicated was unacceptable. It was in a rude tone, condescending and overall poor. We sat down to have breakfast and moved on.
On the third day, we stayed away from the hotlike and took turns. As I waited for my spouse to get breakfast an aggressive waitstaff came to me and said Hey. Hey you! - you have to go. Dogs are not accepted in the dining area. She did this from about 15 feet away in front of the entire dining area. Again - rules are OK, but we had not been told that this dining area was pet free. We had breakfast the day before and we were told that the hotline was off limits, but not the dining area. Staff saw us at the dining area and did not say anything. We assumed incorrectly that the area was ok for well behaved dogs.
Again - Rules are ok. The method of informing us was extremely poor. It was kin to being at a public service office with a culture of displeasure about the job, zero eye contact. Voice and tones that were disrespectful.
In addition I did walk by a couple of times and overheard staff huffing and puffing about situations at work. I saw one roll her eyes and mumble something as another guest walked by a freshly cleaned floor. The guest had no way of knowing.
My suggestion to the company - spend some time in hiring the right people and training them in the area of customer service and how to deal with people.

This hotel was in an excellent location. The staff, day and night, was helpful and courteous. Unfortunately, water leaked from the ceiling into my room the entire length of my stay. The engineers, while they really wanted to help, did a horrendous job at trying to fix the leak by caulking over the leak. I don't know if there were any available rooms but I certainly was not offered a different room nor was I offered any other type of compensation for the inconveniences. That was probably the most disappointing part of the entire stay.

I work in Savannah frequently and also bring the family up for free days. I have stayed at nearly every decent hotel in the area and this is the best overall deal on Bay street. The location is tops. They also have a better breakfast than the other competitors on the strip and they do have free diner and beverages on week nights. I will be staying here again.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The suite we had was just the right size. The only thing I would change is I would ask for a room that has the sofa or at least two chairs. All the employees were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast (a full breakfast) was great. The location was great. We plan to stay every time we go to Savannah

My family and I decided to spend one night in Savannah on the way back to Virginia and randomly selected Staybridge Suites. Good choice and perfect location. The staff was friendly and the morning breakfast buffet excellent. The one thing needed is an in-room safe. Traveling with Ipads, Ipods, and other expensive items leaves the option of leaving in the car (not smart), at the registration desk safe (not sure if that was an option), or in a suitcase (not smart really). So, add a safe and I would add one more star.

My recent stay at the Staybridge Suites Savannah Historic District was great. We had a large group in town for a fishing/golf trip and the staff was good enough to put us in rooms on the same hallway. All of our rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed. The hotel staff we interacted with was friendly, accommodating, professional and tolerant of the occasional rowdiness that typically accompanies a large group of guys. The Staybridge Savannah Historic District has earned my business for any and all future trips to Savannah. I would like to thank all of the staff but especially Morgan and Mario for all of their help during that weekend. Thanks again, ~DK

Nice staff. Clean facility. Historic artifacts in lobby. Friendly clients. All kitchen needs in the room. Excellent access to everything in Savannah and Tybee Island. Knowledgable of the city. We will definitely look them up when we go.
