We liked this property and used Rewards Points for our stay. I thought that it required too many points for each night. The manager's reception on Thursday evening was nice, but I thought the Continental Breakfast did not have a lot of selection. The orange juice was terrible. However, the staff, including the concierge, were very cordial, helpful and responsive. The downside to this property is that the parking lot is down the street, had no elevator and top floor parking was required. It was a hassle to unload at the hotel and park at a distance. The hotel location, however, was outstanding...right near the river and a lot of things going on.

We had a great time on our Savannah vacation! Loved the location of Staybridge. Walk right across the road to Riverstreet. it is in good walking distance to a lot of places that you will want to see while in Savannah. The buffet breakfast every morning was really good and saved the time and expense of having to go somewhere else to eat. My next trip to Savannah I will stay here again!

What a great time we had at Staybridge Suites. Every one of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Charlie was very helpful with scheduling a tour for us and did great follow-up. Beds were extremely comfortable with lots of pillows.
We enjoyed the morning breakfast and especially the evening social with wine/beer/soda and food. We would recommend this place to anyone and already have. The location was awesome and close to everything.

First time visit to Savannah and couldn't have picked a better hotel for our "girls" weekend! We had a fantastic time and the Staybridge was a perfect location to everything we wanted to see and do. Friendly staff made the visit even better and Charlie was so friendly and helpful in making our plans to see Savannah at it's finest! Our room was perfect with the addition of the kitchenette area because you know "we ladies" must have our coffee while talking and getting ready for the day! We will definitely be coming to visit Savannah and Staybridge again in the near future!

I've stayed at several hotels in the Savannah area but Staybridge is my favorite. Tishia checked us in and she was so friendly and so willing to accommodate our requests. All the staff were so nice and helpful.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The stay was relaxing and very enjoyable.

Stay was excellent! We didn't have any trouble with the room. Very spacious and the kitchenette was great! We had booked a package to pay for the parking only for 1$ more which was great, behind the hotel, easy access. Hotel was in nice condition, had great water pressure!
Easy short walk to river street and city market. We have been to Savannah several times and never knew about the city market place so make sure to check it out!!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MicheleG Dont stay here if you value your car
The hotel charges for parking but there are enough spots for one third of the guests. All others are forced to use a local garage. This would be fine except the garage only offers the worst spots in the lot for Staybridge guests. The first night I was lucky enough to get a spot. Or so I thought. I was awoken at midnight to be told I couldnt park in the spot taken. When I told them that they woke me up I was told to move my car or it would be towed. I reluctantly got myself up, got dressed and moved my car.
Saturday was even worse. I returneded Saturday after sight seeing,to find no spots in the lot. I went to the recommended garage and was told I could only park on the fourth level. This was required even though the lot was empty. I asked why? The attendant stated the hotel doesnt pay enough to offer good spots. I found this ironic as the hotel charged more for parking than the lot did. I asked if my SUV would fit and the attendant said it wouldnt be a problem.
It was a problem. While the first 3 levels of the garage were not a problem the top level was. The entrance to the upper level scraped my antennae and luggage rack and caused $700 dollars in damage.
When I told the hotel manager about thisshe stated it wasnt her problem.A further complaint to the general manager led to a referral to the hotels insurance company.Three weeks later, the insurance company would not reimburse me.
The net result of staying at this hotel was $700 bdollars in damage, a lost nights sleep and bad attitudes from the people in charge.
I recommend the Hyatt which is across the street. We stayed there the last time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We have come to Savannah for many years and have stayed in most of the hotels on Bay Street. For the past three years we have chosen Staybridge Suites because of the charming suite and hotel amenities. The location is within walking distance of restaurants and River Street and historic downtown Savannah. It is our favorite!!!!!

Having stayed at a couple other hotels in Savannah we happened upon Staybridge and really like it. The location is great, the hotel is nice and comfortable and the staff helpful & friendly. Parking adjacent to the hotel is nice too if you are looking to park your vehicle personally.

I travel with my dog all the time and whenever we come to Savannah this is our hotel of choice. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. The enitre area is very dog friendly. The morning complimentary breakfast is excellent everyday there is something different. The staff is also very friendly and accomodating. I will be staying here again in December. The location, walking distance to everything. We enjoyed our lunch at J. D.'s burgers in the City Market area, the best corned beef sandwich we have had, NY has nothing on them. I highly recommend this hotel.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dave35 Ok hotel, horrible breakfast
Stayed three nights with family over the Christmas holiday and found this hotel to be a bit of a disappointment. The location is great and the rooms were clean, so much for the good. The desk staff was not very attentive or friendly and the breakfast was an absolute disaster. Every morning of our stay was the same, empty serving dishes and lots of hungry guests looking for something to eat. Luckily they never ran out of cereal and milk, although one morning we had to wait for bowls, spoons, and napkins. So if you are looking for a good hot breakfast I would suggest you stay elsewhere.

The continental breakfast was good with many choices. Ended at 9:30 though which was a bit early some days. Free coffee is available all day.

I have never written a review for a hotel. Staybridge impressed my husband and I that I had to take the time. Clean, full kitchen and stocked with anything we would need. Loved Savannah and will return and stay here again. Great restaurants in walking distance especially Moon River Bar-great food. Just could go on and on. Great way to bring in the new year! A big thank you from central PA.

This was my second time staying at this particular Staybridge and it was just as great as last time. My room was immaculate, the Sundowner Hour spread was better than last year, the breakfast was superb, the staff was courteous, the parking convenient, and the hotel's location can not be beat. Selfishly I want to keep this hotel a secret but I also think it unfair to not share it with others. I will deffinitely be back again. My only complaint is that the hotel is pet friendly. I love animals, but if I wanted some slobbering mut to stroll past me as I enjoy a cup of coffee I would run by Starbucks then head to my nearest animal shelter.

The location of the hotel is great!. Just walk out the hotel and down the steps to reach River Street. The beds are super comfortable and certainly leads to a good night's sleep. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly. Every time I walked by, I was greeted with a smile and asked how my stay was and if I needed anything. Charlie, the concierge, was also friendly and quite knowledgable about the happenings in the area. This was my second stay at the hotel and I plan to stay there next time I am in Savannah again.

Loved everything about the stay. Room was better than expected and had a terrific view! Comfortable and homey - it was so nice to have a full kitchen AND free internet access with 2 teenagers! We even ended up cancelling our reservation for brunch at Paula Dean's when we saw the lavish breakfast that was included in our room price! I highly recommend!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jenzbenz Best spot near River Street in GA!
You will not be dissappointed with this place! Its located a street away from River Street where all the attaction and attractions are. I had know idea how good I had done when I chose this Hotel, until we arrived. The young lady at the front desk was more then helpful. I was so grateful when she actually stayed on the phone with me until I found my way to the hotel. (I tend to get lost easily, LOL). I wish we could remember her name now because her boss should know how wonderful she does her job and does it with a smile. Very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is so cute and the lobby was just beautiful with the Christmas tree and fireplace. The free breakfast was better then any I have seen. Great variety. The room was like a one bedroom apartment and we had the perfect view in room 222. The bed was very comfortable, amenitites perfect and very clean. We will definately be staying there again!! Thank you for making our trip wonderful!!

There was almost no food when we arrived for breakfast at 9:00 AM.
Other guests were also waiting for something to eat. When we asked for a fork to eat the eggs we had waited for some were brought out but the first three forks we chose had food on them!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DLF1 Nice hotel but no follow up to resolve an issue.
We have stayed at this hotel in the past and will again in the future. It was a nice stay once again, however with one exception.
I left a couple personal items in the room and called the hotel within 2 hours after checkout. They said they would check into and return my call. No follow up call from the hotel, so I called back that evening. No one had any information, I was told to call back in the am between 7-9. I called at 8 am and they were aware of the issue but would need to check again with housekeeping and will call me back. No response again, and it has been over a week.
Just tell me whether you have my items or not. No response is unacceptable.
This hotel does not seem to be responsive to phone calls.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sunny405 Not as good as we have come to expect from Staybridge
Although we extended our stay an additional night there were several things that were not up the standards we have come to expect from Staybridge stay. The wireless internet was either nonexistent (2 of the four days) or so slow it was difficult to even be on the internet in the room. The business center computer was barely better, although one day we were able to access and print things, it was useable only one out of the four days we were there.
My husband and several other guests had upsetting encounters with one of the breakfast staff persons who was extremely rude and unpersonable. The last thing a guest wishes to encounter is a surly and or unhappy employee the first thing of the day.
There were two housekeeping carts left in the hallway (same spot) for two of the four days were were there outside of someone's room. We can only hope that the room was unoccupied. One of the doors to the fitness room could not be opened by hotel key but there was no sign to alert you to use the other door.
One elevator was so slow that I was tempted to take the stairs even though I have a physical disability that makes stair use difficult. Only halfway into our stay did we discover another elevator at the other end of the building which was somewhat faster..
In speaking with front desk staff re: the internet situation, two different staff members just shrugged their shoulders and said they hadn't heard others complaining about it. There was no offer to see why it wasn't working in the room or offer to comp parking or discount room cost or anything other than the shrug and comment that I was the first to complain. Several days later I heard others discussing that there was apparently a cut line in the district that affected the internet in the hotel. Whether that was so or not, I could say since I was not advised of this when I spoke to the desk personnel two days in a row re: this..
We were not ackowledged as priority club members nor given the "little goodie bag" with water etc which is a nice touch other properties do. (It appeared as though some guests did get a goodie bag as there were some bags on the back counter of the front desk that appeared to be of that nature, we did not receive one.).
There were several saving graces to our stay. Agnes, one of the housekeeper assigned to our room, was extremely helpful and pleasand and Charlie the concierge was also very pleasant and helpful. He went out of his way to assist whether it was helping out when the breakfast staff appeared short handed getting plates/napkins etc or fulfilling requests for reservations without a working hotel phone or internet to make reservations by using his personal cell phone and apologizing for any inconvience this might be causing one as it was difficult to complete some of the requests when his computer was down I'm sure.. They both always had a smile on their faces and were ready to help anyway they could. They are definite assets to your organization.
The laundry facilities were very good and there was no charge to use the machines which was an unexpected pleasant surprise.
The manager receptions were a nice plus although the quality of both the breakfasts and reception items while more than adequate they were a little less appealing than food we have had in other Staybridge properties. Ie: no meat one breakfast day, no cranberry juice one morning, coffee not always replaced quickly when empty etc. Sandwich bar but no mayo or other condiments or lettuce, tomato slices etc for the sandwiches readily available.
Although the price was fair and the location extremely convenient for us, it is unlikely we will stay at this property in the future.Even though the larger sized room is attractive there were just too many things that were a "click" or more away from satisfactory to make the stay truly enjoyable.
My husband who has worked in the restaurant business felt that there was an overall lack of leadership from management in this property.
The very next day we stayed in Asheville NC. This property was exceptional and it was so nice to have a happy server at breakfast who radiated joy in her job (similar to Charlie and Agnes) and mentioned when a comment was made that it was so nice to see someone cheerfully doing her job that she loves her job and has been doing it for more than 5 years and appreciates that the other staff and hotel managment work together, have fun at their positions and feel like a family. It made one wish to linger because of how upbeat she was. There were two elevator side by side and never a long wait for them, the hallways were clean and you only saw housekeeping carts while the staff was cleaning rooms. Although they don't have a "manager's reception", the breakfast items were as good as and even maybe better than what we had at the Staybridge.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great Location and Quality Service
I stayed here during a 4-day business trip and was impressed with the quality of the room, the excellent location, and the reasonable price. They do get some big tour groups, but I never heard a sound in my room. The free breakfast is nice. If you come down for breakfast and a large group has just cleaned out the buffet, just wait a few minutes. It happened once to me but the staff had it restocked in no time - including the hot items like eggs and biscuits! Great service and friendly too! My only suggestion would be that they find a way to make the coffee cups more obvious. Maybe I was tired, but I looked all over for the cups before I realized they were actually underneath the coffee station. Maybe a sign next to the coffee that says CUPS with arrows pointing down?
