Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never Again !!! We have stayed here several times over the years and have always had a positive experience, but this year was horrible and we will never be back. They overbook their hotel assuming guests will cancel or no show. Well guess what, didn’t happen. We had a reservation for 5 nights for a 2 bedroom suite. We were displaced on the first night, no rooms available even though we had a confirmed reservation. Had to move to another hotel for the first night. Came back late on the second day at 11:00 PM and they still didn’t get our room right. They gave us a room but not the right one with not enough beds. I slept on the floor so my wife and kids could have the beds. Staff didn’t seem to care. It was happening to other guests. Every time you walked by the front desk, staff was apologizing for something or another. Lots of unhappy guests here. Breakfast was extremely weak. Same thing every morning. It was luke warm powered eggs and mushy hash browns. The usual toast, bagel, mini muffin, oatmeal and yogurt cup. Sometimes there was fresh fruit. They were getting ready to tear apart the breakfast area to remodel and on the last day construction started. It was as if the week before they gave up on their breakfast spread. So, if you want to take a chance on your “Confirmed reservation” and maybe get a room and then nibble on a very light breakfast, then go ahead and take a chance and stay at the Staybridge Suites-Vancouver. My kids were calling it the “DON’T Stay bridge Hotel”. There are a lot of other choices around that will treat you a whole lot better. Never again for our family. July 27, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This is not a NON-Smoking Hotel The room across from me not only was allowed to smoke in their room, but they opened their door so the smoke and smell went into the hallway and in my room. I had to complain two days in a row about this smoker. Because the hotel was full I would have to leave the hotel if I did not want to deal with the smoke. I was told there was no room to move me to. But, they would allow the smoking guest to stay in his room and continue to smoke. I feel bad for the next guest that gets that room and believes the hotel is non smoking. Very poor customer service. I will not be staying at this hotel the next time in Vancouver. I book travel for a baseball club with over 90 families, I will be sure they do not stay at this hotel. July 13, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Last Minute Find Our flight had been cancelled out of Portland and the airlines were not able to find us a room anywhere as all hotels were booked that late in the evening (after 10pm). We found Staybridge Suites online and the front desk person was a gem in helping us out, the stay was comfortable and very pleasant; the room clean and well appointed with everything we needed (microwave popcorn was a welcome midnight snack!). Loved having access to The Pantry (complimentary snacks and drinks) and the morning buffet was another real treat. We will definitely keep this hotel in mind if we are ever back in the Vancouver/Portland area, and will recommend this to friends and family as well. July 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A wonderful value! The Staybridge suites in Vancouver WA was a wonderful value! Two separate bedrooms and two separate baths, together with a living room was a deal in itself. But the free hot breakfast was icing on the cake. I highly recommend this site. June 30, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by "Housekeeping" may not really be "housekeeping" after all. You know. We stayed in this kind of hotel several years ago. And you think I would have learned my lesson. But oh, no. Why is it that they offer "light touch" housekeeping just on the weekdays. Am I cleaner on the weekends? Well. I got a note from housekeeping saying that we had stayed in the room too long, and would I go to the front desk and tell them that we were vacating the room and they could come and clean it up. So I did just that. And wouldn't you know it. When we came back--after housekeeping was all finished, they had not even touched out room. I call the front desk. He says he could bring up some fresh towels. Which they did. But why is it that they can't just come up and actually "clean" the room. Such as take out the trash, make the beds, etc. The rooms are really nice. Quite a bit of room to stretch out in. But the "housekeeping" in these places always seems to stretch my credulity. When I called the front desk, they informed me that the wi-fi would be down for several hours for "maintenance". I'll likely spend the extra $ and book the Staybridge PDX next time. January 2, 2013

This stay was just the two of us. We had such a comfortable room. It was so quiet. The be was very comfortable. The bedroom was quiet and separate from living room. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by “Wish we could have stayed longer” We stayed here for 5 night using only Club points. On check-in was immediately recognized a as Priority Club member and congratulated for staying for ‘free’ for that length of time. Despite paying with Club Points we were treated royally, everyone that we came in contact with was pleasant and seemed happy to be working there. There were 3 staff at the front desk at check-in, we had a very nice chat and learned that the General Manager (a real people person) was one of them. Everything was well explained, where the pool and hot tub were, the outdoor BBQs, basketball court, breakfast and dinner buffet, and the Koi fish pond. The hotel was is the midst of renovations so we were given a room well away from any workers, there was no disruptive noise the whole time we were there. The room was a 1 bedroom, beautifully remodeled, suite with a full kitchen (matching pots and pans, china, full set of glasses including wine glasses, full fridge, dishwasher, etc. TV in both the living room and the bedroom (king bed). A binder of videos was available at the front desk too. Very good reception on the free Wi-Fi. The breakfast buffet was excellent, every typical item you could expect and more, fresh and canned fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, a wide variety of breads and muffins, eggs, (scrambled, omelets, hard boiled), bacon, sausage patties and links, oatmeal porridge, make your own waffles with syrup and strawberries to go with it, juices, etc, etc, etc. (Not to say everyone was not excellent, but the young lady working the dinner shift on July 3 and again the morning of July 4 was terrific) A dinner ‘snack’ is also available Tuesday through Thursday, only wade it to one though. It was pizza night, pulled-pork or plain cheese, both very good and fresh. There were also two types of beer available a light and a dark, as well as red and white wine. The wine was very good and supplied by a local craft winery. There is nothing negative I could say about the stay except we could not stay longer. October 25, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good atmosphere and good breakfasts Good comfortable stay. Good atmosphere. The rooms were nice and clean with stove top and frig. Also nice cook ware and dishes in the room with untensils. My only bad experience was with the Laundry Room. It was absolutely messy. The worst part was two unserviceable washers and dryers. Staybridge please get your unserviceable washers and dryers fixed soon. October 18, 2012
