We recently stayed two nights at this hotel, while there, we had several issues with our room keys. They seemed to spontaneously stop working. We had to go back down to the front desk and they were more than helpful replacing the keys, which didn't work either. One of the nights, we sent our 15yr old down to some friends room to "hang out" with her friend. Giving her our only "working" key to get back into the room while we slept. As you can imagine this key also stopped working, and at 12am she went down to the front desk to see if someone there could let her into the room. She was told that she would just have to bang on the door until someone wakes up in the room! Our 15yr old didn't want to bug us so late, so she just spent the night with our friends, which is no problem at all with us. However, it does upset me still that even though they knew we had issues getting into our room, as we had gone down several time even that same night, they were unwilling to let in my daughter.
Not really sure of the policies, I investigated the next morning at the front desk. The person told us that the staff should have let her in and they apologized for the problem. I asked to speak with the manager, but, being Sunday morning, they were not onsite. I asked for them to have the manager call the next day. They have not.
This Email cane to me on day three, asking how my stay was. I really wish I had better news, as we have stayed here in the past and have enjoyed it. However, this experience may have made up my future decisions as to my stay in SLC #of which is about 4-5 times yearly#. I still welcome a call of the management staff at this hotel, but as for now I am cancelling all future reservations at this location.

We have stayed at Staybridge Suites before and loved the wonderful breakfast, fun theatre room to watch movies, and swimming pool area.
The vent/heating system in the room was so loud at night because it was right there in the master bedroom.
The hide-a-bed couch was extremely lumpy, even for a light-weight person.
I was extremely disappointed that we had to pay for a wristband for my mother to even be in the swimming area even though she did not have a swim suit and was not swimming. I understand if she was swimming, it is a liability, but she just wanted to watch her grandkids swim. The lifeguards were very rude about the whole situation. I was extremely frustrated when the next day there were several people in the pool area just watching who did not have wristbands. Why did they get to stay and my mother didn't the day before?
