This is a unique hotel and very appealing on the interior. The hotel is adjacent to a functioning train station and is built on the framework of the former station, which makes it very interesting.
Lots of huge open steel beams in the common areas. there are also former train cars that have been converted into rooms (on the second level). They have statues (in white) of various people around the common ares - kind of ghosts of the past. I had a regular (not train car) room. Very comfortable. the bathroom has a huge counter, so you don't have to try to fit all of your toiletries in a small space. Very nice. I was able to hear a very low rumble from a train twice each morning just before and after 6 AM, but I was already awake. It would not have woken me up and I am a light sleeper. It was quieter than most hotels near roadways and airports. Far quieter than I would have imagined. My only disappointment was that not all rooms have in room safes (some do) and mine did not. [Less]
