My family had never stayed at a Staybridge. When booking, we saw really good reviews online, so we were optimistic. We weren't 100% sure about the area of town, so when we arrived and saw the very
nice atmosphere and look of the place, we were relieved. Upon checking in, we found out that there was a complimentary dinner in the lobby each evening of our early-week stay, and that was a very nice surprise for our family of 4!
Overall, the stay was really wonderful. There was lots to do in the area with our kids, but we enjoyed just being at the hotel as much as going out! At the end of our trip, we wished we could've stayed longer. My pre-teen son even said that the hotel (and pool) was probably his favorite part of the trip. We decided we will always look for a Staybridge from now on when we travel!
The only negative thing I can really say, just to provide a full review, is that we had a little trouble with the key cards. At first, only one of our two cards would work, but that was quickly and easily resolved. Throughout our stay, we had trouble with one of the outside doors not always allowing us in. We never figured out if it was on a schedule we weren't aware of or if it was malfunctioning. We think it was malfunctioning, but we never got around to asking about it, and it wasn't too big of a deal. [Less]
