In attempting to make a recommendation, I was made comfortable even though I was late getting to call in. I was assured that I would have a room and quoted the rate. A relatively new hotel was easy [More] to find. I was greeted by the customer service rep and given a comfortable room just as promised. My room was very quiet just as promised and I was able to get excellent rest after a long drive in. Next morning, a great breakfast was waiting for me and I was ready for my meetings. I returned this week on Tuesday and had a repeat of the same awesome service. i am sold. I need a H membership card if reward points are offered. Raleigh high rise

Spent several days at conference in Raleigh and stayed at Holiday Inn Downtown. It appeared to be converted from another hotel, awkward entrance for cars, but easy parking, and cost to park [More] equivalent to a parking garage. Breakfast was not included in the price. I was there for conference not a hotel experience so it was OK, but I don't like heights, so 18th floor not my favorite place to be, but OK. Our room was across from elevator shaft and next to a laundry mat on the 18th floor, which I was surprised they had. It seemed safe and within easy walking distance of some good restaurants and places to visit- the NC Archives and two state museums, as well as the state capitol Free shuttle service around the city was nearby, offered by the city of Raleigh.
