Great for the price
By Great stay in Houston
My stay went very well. The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good, but the bread was stale and the bananas had turned very brown almost black. [Less]
In town on business
By jmeezy
My friend and her grandson were in town on business before New Years. My home was full, so I as an IHG Rewards member, I put them up in the Holiday Inn Express-West Oaks. She loved it! the beds, [More] the pillows, the room, the breakfast.... she loved it all. When I came to pick them up...I almost wanted to stay in the room myself! It was so quiet and peaceful there.... as opposed to my home at the time. [Less]

Gary is the BEST hotel employee i have ever come across
By Nick's name123
When arriving to the hotel, my wife became very ill. She began to throw up and have very bad stomach problems. Gary, the receptionist, helped me care for my wife. He went above and beyond in every [More] way that he could. [Less]
Anniversary Trip
By Suzy9316
The hotel was great, the staff was exceptional - took care to notice anytime we were in lobby area, attentive to all our needs, even when needing a room change, and let our kids have breakfast, even [More] when they didn't start for another 30 minutes (because we had to get them to airport so early).... Cold front (from 75-32*) blew in while we were there so didn't get to enjoy much of the exterior. [Less]

Weekend family vist
By Myra88881
I went up for the weekend all the way from the valley. After a long 6 hour drive it was nice to get there and get a speedy check in. My only complaint would have to be that at breakfast, the food [More] would finish pretty quick and the hosteps took a while to refill it. I mean the free breakfast is one of those he best things about staying at HIE, like that was literally the only reason my little brother and I got up early on a Saturday and sadly it wasn't as great as other times. We didn't spend a lot of daytime at the hotel but everything else was satisfactory. I'll most likely be staying there whenever I go visit the family again. [Less]
Comfortable and Affordable
By BaldEagle61
The Hotel is modern. The room was comfortable. The internet was fairly easy to access and reliable. The breakfast was good. My only criticism is that is it is hard to seem from the road. The road [More] sign is poorly lit; the turn off is very dark at night, and the driveway is in poor condition. [Less]
