usually stay at but I figured its because of the free breakfast and kitchen setup. However since I didn't eat the breakfast, use the kitchen or the pool area the value was lost on me. We both requested early check in, we arrived in Houston around 11 am and got to the hotel around 12pm and asked if either of our rooms were ready and were told that they were not. The guy took our names and numbers and told us he would call us when our rooms become available. It was 3pm when we finally went back to the hotel because we didn't get a call from the front desk person. The room itself was nice, but the TV was dead smack in the middle facing the door. You had to physically move the whole TV towards the bed or the couch in order to watch it. I wanted to unwind in the pool/hot tub area, so I went to check it out one night. The place looked unkept and the hot tub was dirty. The lighting was very dim and the gate to the pool was wide open. I said it reminded me of the beginning of a horror movie with the way it looked. Other than that the hotel was nice. It had free happy hour that I was never back in time for. [Less]
