Comfortable stay and a great town . . .
Came here for a conference and had a comfortable stay at a good price. Staff were not over-bearing, and were genuinely attentive. The details which went into setting up for the conference and
managing a high volume of people were (in my opinion) done impeccably. My only gripe was not having a mini or micro fridge in my room to store cold beverages for down times. Overall, the room was very nice; high quality fixtures and furniture, nice in-room amenities (the sleep essential oils were awesome - try them!). The fit and finish on the tub (polished granite) and shower were also nice; helped elevate the atmosphere. The on-site restaurant and bar (Altitude) was very nice, not overly trendy, and accommodating. I did find the menu prices to be somewhat high in comparison to the level of food served, but I certainly didn't go hungry and would choose Altitude over fast-food in the area any day. Bar-staff make an excellent gin martini (if you're into those, I am). Found the decor low-key but crisp, comfortable but not dirty. [Less]
