I have stayed at this particular location twice now. I can't think of a better place to stay. The staff is so friendly, and willing to go above and beyond. The room was immaculate. I felt like I was staying in luxury, but at an affordable price! Strongly recommend Candlewood Suites!!!
Pleasant stay

This being the second candlewoods I've stayed at it's starting to become my hotel of choice. Most of the staff are helpful. However, Mrs Vanessa at the Virginia Beach location was the best part of the stay. Room was clean, can't say much being as how I was only there for a night.

The bed was my favorite place to stay the whole entire time. It was very comfortable.

Nice clean rooms that are quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful with any questions you have. The hotel is conveniently located to several restaurants and attractions.
Only negative is that if you're there for business and want to relax and watch TV during your downtime, don't expect a good entertainment experience. The tvs are small and not a great channel selection, no NFL network, no SEC network or ACC network. No true HD either, only 720. Since my stay was for an extended period, I actually went to Best Buy and bought a bigger TV. I met several people bringing in bigger tvs.

Great location, very comfortable bed but there were no kitchen supplies at all, microwave and stove didn't work, we weren't able to cook for the entire time that we were there. Also was given the wrong room type, upon check in.

Centrally located this makes the stay very comfortable. Hot Cofee available at all time at no cost.
Nice Surprise Upgrade

We were surprised with an upgrade to a small suite. Was very happy with the surprise. Bed was super comfortable and loved all the pictures on the wall. Couch furniture was a bit worn but it was a great room and loved the extra space for no extra money!!
