    The facility was run down and in need of a remodel. I stay at Candlewood Suites regularly and the facilities are usually nicer and more updated.

    Great location, easy drive to Port Aransas or downtown Corpus. Room just had carpet shampooed, so it smelled great and was spacious. We used the kitchen for making a full breakfast. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel.

    Hotel is OK. Nothing special. I usually stay at Holiday Inns and did not realize that Candlewoods are extended stay hotels. Would be good for staying for a long period of time when you could get groceries instead of eating out.

    rooms had a stale smell. smelled stuffy. the curtains look unclean with stains on them.
    pre-booked for a roll away bed , but on getting to the hotel, I was told roll away beds were not allowed due to fire hazards. that was very upsetting and destabilizing. however the front desk staff was very helpful and nice. She tried to resolve the problem in a professional and polite manner. She eventually gave us a mattress without the bed frame which was satisfactory to us.

    The age of the hotel is very visible by virtue of looking and being old and worn. I have stayed in Candlewood Suites before and this hotel is the perfect example of the reason I prefer other brand suite hotels. I stayed here because it is where my daughter chose to stay because of it's location relative to where she conducted her business.
