    Paid good money for a non smoking suite but was forced to stay in an ashtray. The room was freezing cold on our arrival in attempts to mask the smell. It was so bad we had to wash our clothes at our next stop. Staff did not seem to care.

    upon arrival the nightmare began at check in. we are elite rewards customers and was not greeted as so, wholes reservation was a nightmare, took over an hour to get it straight and check. We were exhausted and had no sleep in almost 72 hours because of the passing of my mother. very disappointed needless to say

    CANDLEWOOD SUITES, Made me feel right at home, even tho' my home is in Australia!! The staff were warm, friendly and professional! I had intended on staying for just one week and ended extending my stay for two weeks longer! This super friendly,"Southern Hospitality"is there at all times, even in the darkest of night, as that was when I did my laundry, which is included with every suite at no extra charge! Then there was the full size fridge, that I filled up and saved many dollars just eating in my beautiful room, or outside at the gazebo star watching! What a quaint city Baton Rouge is, with it's many historic places to see in or a short drive to the French Quarter in New Orleans!
